“When Your Body Changes, Your Swing Changes”
GOLFZON’s premium indoor golf academy, GDR Academy, announced on October 30 that it will officially launch GDR Performance, a new program combining golf-specific physical conditioning and swing training, on November 9.
GDR Performance is a specialized golf training program designed to systematically improve the physical capabilities required for golf, going beyond conventional swing correction. Building on traditional swing-focused lessons, the program analyzes golfers’ body movements and athletic capabilities to provide training tailored to their individual needs. GDR Performance will make its debut at GDR Academy’s directly operated Seongnam Pangyo location.
GDR Performance begins with an initial assessment of each golfer’s movement patterns and physical capabilities, using the results to develop a personalized training program. The program integrates physical conditioning focused on mobility, balance, strength, and power with swing training designed to improve accuracy and efficiency. This combined approach helps golfers better understand their physical characteristics and develop more stable, efficient swings.
Ahead of the official launch, GDR Academy is offering a pre-registration promotion from October 26 to November 6. Customers who pre-register will receive special promotional pricing, while complimentary resistance bands will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Through the promotion, GDR Academy aims to generate interest in GDR Performance and provide more golfers with opportunities to experience golf-specific physical conditioning. Customers interested in pre-registration can contact the directly operated Seongnam Pangyo location for details on program participation and reservations. Following its initial launch, GDR Academy plans to gradually expand GDR Performance to additional locations, making the program accessible to more golfers.
Baek Doo-hwan, Executive Director of GDR Academy, said, “GDR Performance was developed based on the understanding that improving golf swing performance requires not only technical practice but also the physical capabilities to support it.” He added, “We hope that systematic training tailored to each golfer’s physical characteristics will help golfers discover their potential and experience meaningful improvements in their swing performance.”
GDR Academy is a premium indoor golf academy operated by GOLFZON, offering structured golf improvement programs supported by advanced swing analysis systems and professional coaching. With the introduction of GDR Performance, GDR Academy plans to expand its services beyond traditional golf practice and lessons to include physical conditioning specifically designed for golf.
