[HTV] GOLFZON Leadbetter Opens Its First Academy in Southern Vietnam, in Ho Chi Minh City

HTV, the public broadcaster of Ho Chi Minh City, reported that GOLFZON Leadbetter officially opened its first academy in southern Vietnam in Ho Chi Minh City on July 24, 2026.

According to HTV, the GOLFZON Leadbetter Ho Chi Minh City Academy is equipped with an advanced swing analysis and training data system that enables coaches to accurately assess each student’s swing and technical abilities.

The academy’s programs are led by PGA-certified coaches and offer customized instruction tailored to the skill levels and goals of golfers, from beginners to advanced players. HTV noted that the academy places particular emphasis on developing Vietnamese junior golfers seeking golf scholarships at U.S. colleges through the NCAA pathway.

HTV also reported that the Ho Chi Minh City Academy will introduce golfers across southern Vietnam to advanced golf simulation technology and structured training programs. The broadcaster added that the academy is expected to contribute to the continued growth of golf in Vietnam and help lay the foundation for developing golfers capable of competing internationally.

HTV introduced GOLFZON Leadbetter as part of the golf instruction system founded by David Leadbetter, a world-renowned coach who has worked with numerous major championship winners. The broadcaster added that, with more than 40 years of experience, the Leadbetter network currently operates 38 academies across 15 countries and is recognized as one of the most trusted golf academy brands in the United States.
