[Vietnam Golf & Leisure] GOLFZON VIETNAM Officially Launches the Vietnam Qualifying Round for the “2026 GOLFZON China Open”

According to Vietnam Golf & Leisure, GOLFZON VIETNAM has officially launched a qualifying tournament to select Vietnam’s representatives for the 2026 GOLFZON CHINA OPEN. The qualifying rounds will be held from July 18 to August 31 at GOLFZON locations across Vietnam, with players competing on two courses: Thanh Lanh Golf Club and Harmony Golf Park. Based on their aggregate scores across the two courses, the top-performing players will advance to the national finals at GOLFZON PARK Grand Plaza in Hanoi and GOLFZON PARK Thao Dien in Ho Chi Minh City. The top three players will then be selected to represent Vietnam.

GOLFZON will provide the three representatives with round-trip airfare to the international final. Each player will also be guaranteed at least CNY 25,591 in prize money, equivalent to approximately VND 100 million, upon participating in the final.

Vietnam Golf & Leisure reported that the international final will be held from December 15 to 20 at CITYGOLF in China, with approximately 170 golfers expected to participate from China, South Korea, and other countries across Asia and Europe. The tournament will offer a total prize pool of CNY 20 million, including CNY 5 million, or approximately VND 19.5 billion, for the winner. It will be conducted in a stroke-play format over four 18-hole rounds, with the top 60 players after the first two rounds advancing to the final two rounds.

The publication added that, with its professional organization, modern competition system, and opportunities for Vietnamese players to compete internationally, the qualifying tournament is expected to become a highlight of Vietnam’s simulator golf community in 2026 and contribute to raising the profile of Vietnamese golfers within the region.
