[Dong-A Ilbo] Academy Unveiled for Developing Elite Golfers Through Simultaneous Education, Analysis and Training

Dong-A Ilbo reported that GOLFZON is presenting a new model for developing elite golfers through the ‘GOLFZON Leadbetter Academy (GLA),’ which incorporates the coaching expertise of world-renowned golf instructor David Leadbetter. The newspaper conveyed that GLA is an institution capable of conducting education, analysis and training simultaneously, equipped with industry-leading facilities including the practice-dedicated simulator GDR, the ‘Sung Si-woo Studio’ featuring in-house developed equipment for analyzing shots, ball flight and weight transfer, as well as a putting analysis room, a short game practice area and a fitness center.

Dong-A Ilbo reported that GLA provides customized solutions by assigning dedicated coaches for swing, approach, putting and physical conditioning to each player based on data analysis. It conveyed that some 60 players are currently enrolled, including Kim Han-byeol, a two-time consecutive winner on the Korean Tour, and that pros such as Kim Hye-yun, Choi Hye-jin and Ham Jeong-woo have also trained at GLA.

Dong-A Ilbo conveyed that GOLFZON is applying its screen golf technology to elite player training as well, expanding its standing as a comprehensive golf platform that encompasses the entire golf industry beyond being a simple screen golf company.
