The Dong-A Ilbo reported that GOLFZON Group continued its social contribution activities for vulnerable groups during the winter season this year as well. Following a kimchi-making sharing event held in Daejeon on the 12th, the group carried out a coal briquette and rice delivery volunteer effort in Seoul on the 20th. About 600 employees from affiliates including GOLFZON Holdings, GOLFZON, and GOLFZON Commerce took part in the Seoul activity, delivering 7,200 coal briquettes, 220 sacks of rice, and 625 boxes of kimchi to neighbors in the local community, the report said. For the Daejeon kimchi-making volunteer event, about 30 employees participated, donating 5 million won and delivering 1,000 kg of hand-made kimchi to vulnerable groups and welfare facilities, it added.

The Dong-A Ilbo reported that GOLFZON Group has practiced coexistence with local communities through kimchi-sharing volunteer activities since 2016, and that this year it focused on providing practical support to more underprivileged neighbors by expanding its coal briquette and rice sponsorship activities for households vulnerable to heating shortages.

The Dong-A Ilbo conveyed that Choi Deok-hyung, CEO of GOLFZON Holdings, stated, “We will continue to listen to the voices of neighbors in need and put into practice a management philosophy of sharing and consideration,” adding that GOLFZON Group continues to embody the character of a company that steadily practices coexistence with local communities alongside its business growth.
