The Chosun Ilbo reported that GOLFZON had released the results of an analysis of a total of 39.09 million screen golf rounds played by 1.99 million members nationwide, broken down by region, gender, and age. According to the article, amateur golfers in Jeonnam recorded an average driver distance of 195.8 m, ranking first nationwide, while Ulsan ranked first in average score (88 strokes), demonstrating that distance and score do not necessarily correlate.

In the analysis by gender, women hit the ball 50 m shorter than men but differed by only three strokes in score, while by age group, men in their 60s recorded the lowest average score at 85.3 strokes, confirming that golfing experience determines skill.

The article noted that Ulsan golfers had the fewest out-of-bounds shots and, thanks to affordable screen golf fees, played most frequently, whereas Jeju recorded the lowest average score due to a high proportion of tourists and reduced concentration. The region that used the most mulligans was Sejong, with 2.22 per 18 holes, and the report stated that the more business golf is played, the more generous golfers tend to be with mulligans.
