[Sports Chosun] Calling All Long Drivers… GOLFZON Hosts National Long Drive League

Sports Chosun reported that GOLFZON is hosting the “2018 GDR Korea Long Drive League,” with a total prize pool of 30 million won. The competition is divided into a qualifying Champions League and a final Final League. Following three rounds of qualifiers held in March, June, and September, participants who accumulate 300 or more points advance to the Final League, to be held in December at the GDR Academy Gwanggyo branch in Suwon. The report added that the Final League champion will receive prizes worth a total of 15 million won, including golf culture gift certificates, a pure silver trophy, and golf equipment.

Sports Chosun reported that Park Kang-soo, Managing Director of GOLFZON’s GS Business Division, said the previous year’s event concluded successfully with around 100 participants, including a winner who set a top record of 364 yards, and expressed his hope that this year’s event would once again give long drivers a chance to experience the excellence of the GDR system and challenge their limits.

Sports Chosun reported that, by hosting the long drive competition for the second consecutive year, GOLFZON is steadily building brand awareness and user engagement through a variety of golf events utilizing the GDR system.
