Maeil Business Newspaper reported that GOLFZON demonstrated its standing as the birthplace of screen golf by operating a golf simulator booth for the sixth consecutive year at Carnoustie Golf Links in Scotland, where The 147th Open Championship was held. At the tournament, which drew approximately 172,000 spectators over four days, GOLFZON installed simulators in the booth operated by the R&A and ran hands-on experience events together with free lesson events by PGA coaches. The newspaper also reported that GOLFZON heightened the sense of realism by recreating major Open Championship courses such as St Andrews, Prince’s, and Turnberry.

Maeil Business Newspaper reported that GOLFZON has earned recognition from the United States’ CBS Sports and Forbes as a ‘flawless and unrivaled screen golf system,’ and that it has established itself as the global number one golf simulator, having been named one of Golf Digest’s ‘Best Golf Simulators’ for two consecutive years.

Maeil Business Newspaper reported that GOLFZON plans to further accelerate its expansion into overseas markets beyond the countries it has already entered, such as the United States, Japan, China, and Vietnam, in order to spread Korea’s screen golf craze around the world.
