GOLFZON TOUR Season 3 Launches in the U.S. with a USD 300,000 Total Prize Purse
- Enhanced prize structure, fall and winter season schedule, and a revamped competition format expand opportunities to compete for the largest championship prize purse in the tour’s history

CHANTILLY, Virginia, USA — GOLFZON, a global leader in golf simulator technology, announced that facility registration for GOLFZON TOUR Season 3 is now open. Building on the success of last year’s tour, which drew more than 1,000 participants across 72 facilities, Season 3 introduces major improvements centered on scheduling, competitive balance, accessibility, and prize structure, reflecting direct feedback from the GOLFZON community.
This year’s tour runs from fall through winter, aligned with the peak season for indoor golf. It also introduces a new multi-tier competition structure designed to connect local players with the global competitive stage.
Individual qualifying begins in September, with participants competing at their own home facilities. Top performers form four-player teams to advance to the next stage.
Team qualifying takes place across multiple tournaments starting in October, with the top 64 teams advancing to bracket play based on cumulative scores. The top-performing team will receive four tickets to the 2027 U.S. Open Champions Pavilion, along with a VIP behind-the-ropes experience and tour opportunity.
Beginning in November, teams will compete in a single-elimination tournament featuring real-time, head-to-head matches through GOLFZON’s network play system, leading up to the GOLFZON TOUR Final held during the 2027 PGA Show. The GOLFZON TOUR Final MVP will be awarded two tickets to the 2027 U.S. Open Champions Pavilion.
Sean Pyun said, “GOLFZON TOUR Season 2 showed clear growth compared to the first season. The tournament committee expanded the number of participating teams from 12 to 72 and introduced network play for real-time scoring, delivering the first-ever live simulator competition.” He added, “Based on the major improvements incorporating valuable feedback from tour participants, along with the growing participation in and demand for indoor golf competitions, we expect Season 3 to be the most highly anticipated and fiercely contested season in GOLFZON TOUR history.”
GOLFZON expects Season 3 to attract its largest field of participants ever, and has accordingly expanded the prizes and incentives for participants, facilities, and operators. Season 3 features a total prize purse of USD 300,000, with a revised payout structure that further strengthens rewards for top-performing teams. The first-place team will receive USD 200,000, the second-place team USD 60,000, and each semifinalist team USD 20,000. In addition to a USD 20,000 individual qualifying prize purse, a range of opportunities will be offered for golfers and operators to enjoy special golf experiences.
Now in its third year, the GOLFZON TOUR continues to solidify simulator golf as a highly scalable, year-round competitive platform. The GOLFZON TOUR connects local players with the global stage through innovative technology and pure competition. During Season 3, real-time scoring will be supported by Golf Genius, and this year an official apparel partner will provide custom uniforms for the 64 teams that advance to bracket play.
All tour rounds will be played on GOLFZON’s TwoVisionNX and TwoVision simulators, delivering an immersive indoor golf experience. GOLFZON simulators are equipped with an advanced camera system for precise measurement, enabling more accurate calculation of launch angle, spin, speed, and club path, and feature the GOLFZON Motion Plate, which can reproduce shots from up to 56,000 different lies. Participants will compete on iconic courses including Pebble Beach.
