GOLFZON JAPAN Hosts GOLFZON LIVE FESTIVAL 2026 CHAMPIONSHIP SPRING Across 265 Locations Nationwide

GOLFZON JAPAN Co., Ltd. (headquartered in Tokyo; hereinafter “GOLFZON JAPAN”) hosted the GOLFZON LIVE FESTIVAL 2026 CHAMPIONSHIP SPRING, attracting a total of 1,316 professional and amateur golfers from 265 locations across Japan.
The online tournament enabled golfers nationwide to compete under the same playing conditions using GOLFZON simulators.
A total of 8,677 rounds were played during the qualifying period. The number of participants increased by 285 from 1,031 in the previous year to 1,316 this year.
A Tournament Designed for Everyone, Not Only the Top Finishers
In addition to awards for the top finishers in the overall rankings and women’s division, the tournament offered special prizes for participants finishing in designated positions, including 5th, 10th, 20th, 100th and 200th place, as well as BB and BM awards.
Benefits were also provided to all participants. The tournament was designed to appeal not only to competitive golfers but also to those looking to test the progress of their regular practice or enjoy the event in a more casual setting.
Creating Ongoing Playing Opportunities Across 265 Locations Nationwide
Participants joined the tournament from GOLFZON-equipped locations across Japan, including facilities outside major urban areas.
Throughout the tournament period, participants could play multiple rounds at the locations they regularly visited. The amateur division recorded 7,141 rounds, while the professional and amateur divisions combined generated a total of 8,677 rounds.
Simulator-based online tournaments extend beyond one-time events by encouraging repeat visits throughout the competition period, promoting interaction among players at participating locations and providing golfers with new goals to pursue.
A Special On-Course Experience Beyond the Online Qualifiers
The top finishers in the amateur qualifying division advanced to the final held at PGM Sosei Golf Club.
Professional golfer Momoka Miura, a GOLFZON JAPAN ambassador, and golf instructor and YouTuber Terayu also participated in the final.
By extending the competition beyond online scoring to a final on an actual golf course, the tournament provided participants with a distinctive experience and additional motivation to compete.
Delivering Engaging Golf Experiences Beyond Simulator Installation
GOLFZON focuses not only on simulator performance and course realism but also on creating experiences that users can continue to enjoy after installation.
By combining online tournaments, in-store events, rankings and participation benefits, GOLFZON aims to provide golfers with new goals and incentives while enhancing user satisfaction at participating locations.
GOLFZON JAPAN will continue to develop tournaments and events that appeal to a wide range of golfers, from those focused on competition to those who simply want to enjoy the game in a casual setting.
