GOLFZON Installs Simulators at Mass Golf

Press Release America

Mass Golf announced that it has named GOLFZON, a golf simulator company, as an official partner and the “official golf simulator” of Mass Golf and The First Tee of Massachusetts. GOLFZON America, based in Sterling, Virginia, will install two GOLFZON Vision Standard simulators at The Links at Mass Golf, with installation and operation scheduled for early 2020. The announcement was made by Jesse Menachem, Executive Director and CEO of Mass Golf.

“We are pleased to partner with GOLFZON to bring the latest technology in the golf simulator industry to Massachusetts,” said CEO Jesse Menachem. “The GOLFZON simulators will not only be used in our new First Tee program for local youth during the winter months, but will also give Mass Golf members and area golfers the opportunity to improve their game using the best software currently on the market.” He added, “This is another example of Mass Golf’s commitment to providing new and distinctive opportunities for golfers of all ages and abilities and to advancing golf in the Massachusetts region.”

The simulators will be installed in the clubhouse at The Links at Mass Golf. The Links at Mass Golf is an 18-hole par-3 facility located about 10 minutes from TPC Boston, a PGA TOUR–owned course that will host The Northern Trust, the first event of the FedExCup Playoffs, from August 13 to 16, 2020.

Kyle Harris, Director of Operations for The First Tee of Massachusetts, said, “One of the things we are most excited about in our partnership with GOLFZON is that we will be able to run First Tee programs year-round at our facility.” He continued, “We look forward to supporting youth in their continued participation in golf and life-skills programs even during the winter months, and to creating an even greater positive impact in our community.” He added, “These simulators will also be open to the general public, so The Links at Mass Golf will become a truly year-round, family-friendly golf venue.”

GOLFZON was founded in 2000. The company develops its business based on the philosophy of improving access to golf and making it possible for “anyone to enjoy golf.”

Tommy Lim, CEO of GOLFZON America, said, “We are very pleased to provide a new golf experience to First Tee participants and Mass Golf members across the Greater Boston area.” He continued, “GOLFZON’s global technological advancements and its recent growth in the U.S. market are enabling more golfers, homeowners, clubs, and businesses to experience the advantages of GOLFZON simulators.” He added, “We thank Mass Golf for including GOLFZON simulators in The Links at Mass Golf program. This collaboration once again demonstrates GOLFZON’s philosophy of making golf a more enjoyable sport for everyone.”

GOLFZON is a global golf simulator company that has achieved great success in South Korea, where it is headquartered, and entered the U.S. market in 2016. The quality of GOLFZON simulators was quickly recognized by Golf Digest, the world-renowned golf media outlet, and the product was selected as the winner of the Editors’ Choice Award for “Best Simulator” in the Best Gear & Gadgets category from 2017 to 2019.

In its 2019 Editors’ Choice, Golf Digest evaluated the GOLFZON Vision Standard system as follows: “Positioned in the mid-price range, GOLFZON’s Vision Standard is anything but basic, despite its name. The system’s sensors capture your swing, impact, and spin and display ball flight, while also recording key data points and saving them to the cloud for access across a range of electronic devices. With more than 190 beautiful courses and dozens of practice arcade games, there is never a dull moment.”
