Donga Ilbo reported that GOLFZON operated a 661-square-meter booth at the 2026 PGA Merchandise Show, held in Orlando, U.S., from January 21 to 23, where it showcased its urban golf course “CITY GOLF” and its next-generation practice simulator “GDR MAX.” The content that drew the most attention at the exhibition was the CITY GOLF experience space; GOLFZON built one full CITY GOLF hole in the exhibition hall so that visitors could play it themselves, and went to the trouble of separately manufacturing the exhibition green in Korea before shipping it overseas and reassembling it on site.
Donga Ilbo reported that CITY GOLF has expanded its foothold in overseas markets by successively opening its first location in China in Tianjin (September 2024) and its second in Yanji (August 2025), and that China’s General Administration of Sport selected GOLFZON’s CITY GOLF as a leading example in the smart sports facility sector within China in December 2024. The paper added that, at this PGA Merchandise Show, inquiries about the conditions for adopting CITY GOLF and its operating methods came one after another, primarily from golf industry figures in North America.
Donga Ilbo reported that GOLFZON, building on the successful operation of CITY GOLF in China, is now actively pursuing global business expansion into the North American market.
