China Daily reported that GOLFZON China, jointly with 12 sports universities in China, held the ‘Sports University and GOLFZON China Charitable Donation Agreement Ceremony and Seminar on Digital Golf Development and College Student Employment’ at the Tianjin University of Sport. The article noted that GOLFZON China decided to donate GDR digital golf simulators worth a total of 4.36 million yuan to 10 sports universities, and that, building on this initiative, it would strengthen industry-academia-research cooperation and cultivate interdisciplinary talent.
It was reported that, in his congratulatory address, Chairman Park Young-jo introduced GOLFZON China’s three core strategies of ‘digital sports, digital facilities, and digital competitions,’ and emphasized that the company would strive to help China lead the global digital golf competition culture. At the seminar, in-depth discussions followed on three themes: the development and application scenarios of digital golf, the cultivation of college student talent and entrepreneurship and employment opportunities, and the design of digital golf curricula. At the close of the event, Chairman Park Young-jo and Liu Baohua, President of the Tianjin University of Sport, jointly proposed the establishment of a digital golf education alliance, which drew an enthusiastic response from attendees, and it was reported that cooperation between GOLFZON China and the sports universities is expected to expand further going forward.
