[Edaily] GOLFZON Academy Alumnus Shin Sang-hoon Claims Third Career Win at GOLFZON Open: “It Feels Even More Special”

Edaily reported that Shin Sang-hoon, a GOLFZON Academy alumnus, claimed his third career victory on the KPGA Tour by winning the GOLFZON Open after the second playoff hole. According to the outlet, Shin has received systematic training at GOLFZON Academy since his sophomore year of high school and continues to train with GOLFZON, adding further meaning to his victory at the GOLFZON Open.

The publication said Shin shared his thoughts after the win, saying, “I am a GOLFZON Academy alumnus and still train with GOLFZON, so winning the GOLFZON Open feels especially meaningful.” Edaily noted that his remarks underscored the special significance of his decade-long relationship with GOLFZON.

With the victory, Shin moved up to second place in the Genesis Points standings, securing an exemption from the first stage of PGA TOUR Q-School. After the domestic season concludes, he is expected to begin his bid for the U.S. stage from the second stage of Q-School in December.
