South Korean news agency News1 reported that GOLFZON is accelerating its expansion in the U.S. screen golf market, drawing on more than two decades of golf simulator technology and its glocalization strategy. GOLFZON has expanded into approximately 60 countries worldwide and currently operates simulators at around 4,200 locations overseas. The report also noted that GOLFZON AMERICA’s revenue increased nearly sevenfold over five years, from approximately KRW 6.5 billion in 2020 to KRW 44.1 billion in 2025.
News1 added that GOLFZON’s global competitiveness was recognized by the National Golf Foundation, which named the company to its 2025 Top 100 Businesses in Golf list in the Media & Technology category.
According to News1, GOLFZON operated an exhibition booth covering approximately 200 pyeong at the 2026 PGA Show in January, where it introduced the GOLFZON CITYGOLF concept and received positive feedback from attendees.
First launched in China in 2024, GOLFZON CITYGOLF is a next-generation indoor golf facility that combines screen-based play with a physical green. At a facility measuring approximately 5,000 pyeong, golfers play tee shots and approach shots using 18 simulator screens before completing each hole on an actual green.
News1 reported that GOLFZON plans to further strengthen its position in the U.S. indoor golf market by collaborating with local companies, including the Pebble Beach Company, and expanding its GOLFZON CITYGOLF business.
