The Korea Economic Daily reported that GOLFZON signed an agreement with the Korea Professional Golfers’ Association (KPGA) to serve as the title sponsor of the 2022–2023 KPGA Korean Tour. The two parties held a signing ceremony on the 18th at the KPGA office in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province, and announced that, alongside hosting Korean Tour events, they will jointly operate GTOUR, the screen golf tournament that GOLFZON launched as a world first in 2012.

The Korea Economic Daily reported that the two parties also agreed to actively support a GOLFZON GDR Academy employment-linked program, a GDR Plus purchase promotion, and startup consulting for prospective KPGA members. KPGA Chairman Koo Ja-cheol said, “We will do our best to grow together with GOLFZON,” while GOLFZON CEO Park Kang-soo stated, “We will pursue mutual-growth policies that move forward together with those working in the golf industry.”

The Korea Economic Daily reported that GOLFZON plans to lead the overall revitalization of Korea’s golf industry by linking field golf tournament sponsorship with the screen golf tour.
