GOLFZON Participates in the 2024 PGA Show in the U.S. – Unveils TWOVISION PLUS and GDR PLUS

GOLFZON took part in the 2024 PGA Show in the U.S., held from January 23 to 26, where it met with golf industry professionals from around the world.
At the exhibition, GOLFZON introduced its flagship award-winning golf simulators, the Wave series, and a range of expandable golf solutions, showcasing its digital golf technology to roughly 50,000 visitors from across the globe. As a company representing the global digital golf industry, GOLFZON used this PGA Show to present a new direction for the golf industry and the possibilities of digital sports.
The products that drew the most attention on-site were TWOVISION PLUS and GDR PLUS. TWOVISION PLUS is a premium simulator equipped with a motion plate that reproduces actual course terrain, high-speed camera sensors that precisely analyze club and ball data, an automatic tee-up system, and a variety of lie mats. Its standout feature is that, based on tournament and league modes, golfers around the world can play together in real time. In fact, GOLFZON drew on this to host the ‘Korea-China-Japan Metaverse Golf Star Match’ connecting the three countries three times in a row, with another event scheduled for February 25.
GDR PLUS was presented as a digital-based smart golf practice system. Through diverse practice modes and data analysis features, it provides an environment optimized for lessons and performance improvement, and it is equipped with floor-mounted camera sensors, an automatic tee-up system, and shot feedback functions.
In particular, GDR PLUS is used as the official simulator across all GOLFZON Leadbetter Academies operated by world-renowned golf legend coach David Leadbetter.
Since entering the North American market, GOLFZON has expanded its business areas through various collaborations. It launched ‘GOLFZON Social,’ an entertainment-style golf venue, in partnership with global golf operator Troon, and it also operates the ‘GOLFZON Leadbetter Academy’ together with David Leadbetter.
Launched in 2018, the GOLFZON Leadbetter Academy currently operates 31 academies across four continents worldwide. Known as the ‘godfather of golf instruction,’ Leadbetter has been building a more scientific and efficient golf education system based on GOLFZON simulators.
Sean Pyun, CEO of GOLFZON America, said, “GOLFZON’s business has grown rapidly over the past few years,” adding, “today you can find GOLFZON simulators in a variety of countries, including the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.” He went on to explain, “This growth is the result of competitiveness rooted in our technology and product quality,” and “GOLFZON simulators are a core platform for the golf industry, enabling everything from entertainment and lessons to virtual tournament operations.”
Drawing on more than 20 years of experience in golf simulator development, GOLFZON continues to invest approximately USD 17 million in research and development each year. Under its vision of ‘enabling anyone to enjoy golf anytime, anywhere,’ GOLFZON currently operates around 8,900 golf facilities and more than 52,000 units of equipment in over 60 countries worldwide. Its global membership has surpassed 5.5 million, and the number of daily rounds worldwide exceeds 300,000.
