GOLFZON Foundation supports African international student with surgery and living expenses

Financial News reported that the GOLFZON Foundation delivered 10 million won, covering the cost of an initial surgery and living expenses, to Edna, an international student from the Republic of Benin in Africa, at Pai Chai University in Daejeon. The funds were drawn from a contribution made to the GOLFZON Foundation by the Daejeon Regional Listed Companies Council for the benefit of underprivileged members of the local community, and the Foundation said it plans to additionally cover the full cost of a second surgery as well as treatment and living expenses going forward.

Financial News reported that Edna said, “Being alone in Korea, I could not even imagine how to come up with the surgery costs, but thanks to the help of so many people I am able to undergo the operation, and I am grateful,” pledging to recover her health and devote herself to her studies.

Financial News reported that the GOLFZON Foundation continues to carry out support activities for neighbors in need, including underprivileged members of local communities and foreign international students.
