[Newsis] Yuwon Golf Foundation Cup, Daddy-Long-Legs Golf Tournament a Great Success!

Newsis reported that the Yuwon Golf Foundation held the ‘8th Daddy-Long-Legs Golf Tournament,’ Korea’s only senior-junior golf pro-am event, at Ora Country Club in Jeju on the 17th. Eighty senior players and aspiring junior golf prospects took part, forming two-player teams to play a joint round, during which the junior players received hands-on experience from their senior mentors, including course-management strategies and short-game know-how. The total scholarship pool for the tournament amounted to 100 million won, of which 40 million won was raised by senior players donating their prize money from the GOLFZON Charity Korea Senior Open.

Newsis reported that the players who have received scholarship support through this tournament over the past eight years include famous professionals currently active on tour, such as Park Gyeol, Ji Han-sol, and Park Ji-young.

Newsis reported that, through this tournament combining exchange and sharing between seniors and juniors, the Yuwon Golf Foundation continues to take the lead in nurturing aspiring golfers and supporting talent who will shape the future of Korean golf.
