GOLFZON Co., Ltd. (Co-CEOs Park Kang-soo and Choi Deok-hyung) announced that it successfully concluded its exhibition at the 2024 PGA Merchandise Show, held over four days from January 23 to 26 in Orlando, Florida, USA, where it presented a variety of golf simulator products for the global market to the acclaim of local visitors.

The PGA Show is the world’s largest golf expo, hosted by the Professional Golfers’ Association (PGA). This year it drew crowds of more than approximately 30,000 visitors day after day. During the exhibition, the booth of GOLFZON—Korea’s largest golf simulator company—welcomed a high volume of visitors, up about 17% from the previous year, who experienced a range of golf simulator products and held sales consultations. This demonstrated the company’s growth potential in the global market and solidified its position for global business expansion.

Participating for the ninth time this year, GOLFZON set up a standalone booth at the expo and showcased a variety of golf simulator products embodying the technological expertise it has built up over the past 23 years. As its flagship product, the company exhibited ‘TwoVision,’ a leading golf simulator that recreates an on-course screen golf game environment, along with ‘WAVE,’ a portable golf launch monitor that has been well received since its launch in the U.S., Japan, Australia, and Europe in the second half of last year, and ‘GDR Plus,’ a simulator dedicated to screen golf practice.

Through brand showcases for ‘Golfzon Social’ and ‘Golfzon Range,’ which have opened in the Americas as part of a localization strategy, GOLFZON signaled that it is focusing on expanding its store business in the United States as it has done domestically. The company also emphasized the importance of golf simulators and technological innovation by unveiling a new software lineup, Arcade Plus, and an upgraded global mobile app.

Throughout the expo, GOLFZON also focused on brand promotion through various events and promotions, including prize drawings and a standing party. A lesson conducted by world-renowned golf instructor David Leadbetter using the GDR system proved popular among participants, and customer-engagement events such as product trial sessions where visitors could experience the distinctive features of each product also drew an enthusiastic response.

GOLFZON DECA (CEO Jeong Joo-myeong), a global specialist in golf rangefinders, also presented a variety of GolfBuddy rangefinder products at this PGA Show. In particular, the ‘GB Voice XL’—a smart golf speaker that combines golf distance measurement with a stylish dot LED display—drew strong interest from visitors with its 20W high-output woofer and 10W tweeter delivering crisp sound from low to high frequencies. In addition, the aim L30 Stabilized, which applies GolfBuddy’s anti-shake ‘SCT (Stay Calm Technology)’ to add stability to golf distance measurement, and ‘SmartCaddie’—the built-in app for the ‘Galaxy Watch6 Classic Golf Edition,’ which won Google Play’s 2023 ‘Best Watch App of the Year’—earned continued praise from visitors, proving the competitiveness of GOLFZON DECA in consistently maintaining its technological edge in rangefinders.

Sean Pyun, CEO of GOLFZON America, said, “It is meaningful that each year, through the PGA Show, we are able to introduce to buyers and visitors from around the world the unrivaled golf simulator products that embody GOLFZON’s technological prowess.” He added, “Through its participation in the PGA Show, GOLFZON will strengthen its business foundation in the global market, and going forward we will do our utmost to deliver the differentiated enjoyment of off-course golf—including the development of golf simulator products for the global market—centered on the Americas, where the growth potential for golf simulators is high.”
