Uplink Expands Esports Training Center and Entertainment Arena Powered by GOLFZON Technology

KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa. — Uplink, an innovator in community-based esports and entertainment, announced the opening of a new facility in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. Featuring state-of-the-art amenities, the new space officially opened with a grand opening event on May 11, showcasing a wide range of gaming technology and entertainment options.
The new Uplink location is equipped with 40 gaming PCs, four racing simulators, and three top-of-the-line GOLFZON TwoVision golf simulators. Offering a variety of programs including memberships, tournaments, leagues, summer camps, and custom event hosting, it is set to establish itself as a flagship family entertainment destination in the area that esports fans and families alike can enjoy together.
The King of Prussia location is Uplink’s second facility, designed to be a premium gaming hub while operating around Uplink’s signature “virtuous cycle gaming model.” This model focuses on using competitive esports to help children learn important life skills that will serve them throughout their lives. This approach also earned Uplink a nomination for “Best Charitable or Social Impact Initiative” at the 2023 Tempest Awards.
Derek Rodner, CEO and co-founder of Uplink, said, “We believe it’s important to connect with today’s youth in a way that resonates with them, and gaming can do exactly that. We’ve built a network of customers who feel like family in Chester Springs, and we look forward to creating that same experience in King of Prussia.”
Beyond gaming content, the three TwoVision golf simulators installed at Uplink deliver a true-to-life golf experience indoors. Developed on the strength of the long-standing technology of GOLFZON, a global leader in golf simulation technology, TwoVision reproduces the varied lies of a real course through a 24-directional moving swing plate that shifts beneath the golfer’s feet. In addition, it features high-speed sensors that capture clubhead and ball-flight data to provide realistic performance feedback, an automatic tee-up and ball retrieval system, a virtual caddie that offers advice to players, and a multi-surface mat that recreates fairway, rough, and bunker conditions.
Uplink’s new King of Prussia location also offers a versatile event space that can be used for a variety of purposes, including children’s birthday parties, private functions, and corporate events. Through this expansion, Uplink plans to continue fulfilling its brand mission of building better gamers and better people.
