GOLFZON Co., Ltd. (CEO Park Kang-su) announced on August 3 that Ha Seung-bin II claimed his first career victory in his third year on the GTOUR at Round 5 of the “2026 Tirepro GTOUR MIXED,” held on Saturday, August 1, at GOLFZON ZOIMARU in Daejeon.

Ha Seung-bin II carded 6-under-par in both the first and second rounds to finish at 12-under overall, securing his first victory three years after making his GTOUR debut.

With a total prize purse of 80 million won, including 17 million won for the winner, the tournament was sponsored by Tire Pro (TIRE PRO), Kumho Tire’s specialized retail brand, as the main sponsor. Sub-sponsors included Saint Nine, MyAiming, Selpinda, and Volvik Apparel, while spirits company Golden Blue participated as the Grand Prize Points sponsor.

The official balls for the 2026 MIXED season were the Saint Nine N BLACK and N GOLD. Except for the tee boxes, which were set differently for male and female players on each hole, the tournament conditions were identical to those of the regular tour.

The tournament was contested over 36 holes in a one-day, two-round stroke-play format with no cut at AI Cheonmunbong CC, a course available exclusively on TWOVISION NX PLUS. With course and green difficulty ratings of 4 on GOLFZON, the virtual course featured several challenging holes, including a blind hole requiring players to hit over rocky terrain, making both accuracy and course management crucial.

In particular, the course was unveiled on the day of the tournament, and the event was played on the new TWOVISION NX PLUS system. Players therefore had to adapt quickly, resulting in a tense battle of strategy throughout the competition.

A total of 88 male and female professionals competed in the tournament, including leading players in the 2026 GTOUR and WGTOUR Grand Prize points standings, top performers from the previous event, leading rookies, and recommended players.

Starting with this tournament, matches were played in Tour Mode on GOLFZON’s new TWOVISION NX PLUS simulator system, providing spectators with a more vivid and immersive viewing experience.

Ha Seung-bin II entered the final round tied for third place, two strokes behind the leader, and maintained steady play early in the round. Through the 13th hole, he recorded one eagle and six birdies without a bogey, calmly taking control of the lead.

Although he made bogeys on the 14th and 16th holes while trying to pull away from the chasing pack, he maintained his composure on the pressure-filled 18th hole and held onto the lead to claim his first GTOUR victory.

The final round featured more challenging pin positions, adding further excitement as players produced a wide range of scores. Lee Jun-hee, who began the final round as the sole leader, regained momentum on the back nine but was unable to make up for a slow start. He finished tied for second with Lee Se-jin II, who has recorded three runner-up finishes during the 2026 season.

Also joining them in a four-way tie for second were Shim Ji-yeon, a leading WGTOUR player who carded a 9-under-par final round, and KPGA professional Jeong Chan-min, whose powerful long drives drew cheers from the gallery.

Lee Yong-hee I, who battled Ha Seung-bin II for the lead on the back nine, made a bogey on the 18th hole and finished tied for sixth. He was joined by 2026 WGTOUR rookies Jeon Hye-won II and Kim A-ro-mi, who impressed the gallery with their performances.

Kim Han-byul, who converted several difficult birdie opportunities with deft putting, tied for ninth alongside WGTOUR standouts Lee Jin-kyung and Park Dan-yu.

Following the tournament, an awards ceremony was held to present the winner with the prize money, trophy, champion’s jacket, and bouquet of flowers.

Ha Seung-bin II said, “I would like to thank GOLFZON and Tirepro for hosting the tournament, the sponsors for their continued support, and my beloved family.”

He added, “I think I was able to win because the new system accurately reproduced the shot shapes I am accustomed to, allowing me to play with confidence. I will do my best to continue delivering strong performances throughout the second half of the year.”

The MyAiming Lowest Score on 18 Holes Award, presented to the player with the lowest score over 18 holes in the final round, went to Shim Ji-yeon. The Saint Nine Eagle Award, presented to the player with the most eagles, was awarded to Kim Yong-seok II, who recorded three eagles.

Meanwhile, information on the history, tournaments, player records, and highlights of the GTOUR, WGTOUR, and MIXED—Korea’s leading screen golf tours, which celebrate their 15th anniversary this year—is available on the official website.

The tournament was broadcast live on the day of the event through the GOLFZON YouTube channel, Naver and Daum Sports, SCREEN GOLFZON TV, and SBS Golf2.
