GOLFZON to Participate in the 5th USGA Golf Innovation Symposium in Tokyo

Press Release America

GOLFZON announced that it will participate in the 5th USGA Golf Innovation Symposium, held in Tokyo, Japan, from March 12 to 13. This symposium is a biennial event hosted by the USGA together with the Japan Golf Association (JGA).

GOLFZON Japan CEO Akihiro Konno and GOLFZON America CEO Tommy Lim will appear as speakers in the session on Wednesday, March 13, where they will present on the impact of golf simulators on the golf industry and how they contribute to attracting new golfers.

The two will take part in the panel “The Reality of Simulators: How Indoor Golf Facilities Are Bringing in New Golfers,” moderated by Signature Group CEO Bruce Lucker. The session will introduce how golf simulators are bringing the golf experience to high-density urban areas where people live. Used in a variety of ways—as a social activity, a training tool, and a competitive platform—simulators have established themselves as a popular format that complements the on-course golf experience.

GOLFZON, which holds the largest share of the global golf simulator market, will showcase the data and technology it uses to engage the millennial generation and support newcomers entering the sport of golf.

Throughout the symposium, GOLFZON simulators will also be set up at the Hilton Tokyo venue, where attendees can try them out firsthand during breaks.

The USGA, in collaboration with its official technology partner Cisco, will broadcast this symposium live from the Tokyo venue in both English and Japanese versions. The GOLFZON session will run from 3:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Japan Standard Time on Wednesday, March 13.
