The sponsorship signing ceremony was held on the 27th at GOLFZON Joymaru in Daejeon, attended by GOLFZON CEO Park Kang-soo, pro Kim Hong-taek, and other officials. The sub-sponsorship agreement runs until December 2025, and Kim will compete in all future tournaments wearing a cap bearing the GOLFZON logo.
At the signing ceremony, Kim Hong-taek said, “I am grateful to have signed a sponsorship deal with GOLFZON, a long-time partner that has worked hard for the development of Korea’s screen golf tour, and I will continue to strive to be a player who performs well with strong results both on the field and on the screen.”
Kim Hong-taek won the glory of victory after a close playoff battle against Thailand’s Chonlatit Chuenboonngam in the final round of the ‘43rd GS Caltex Maekyung Open,’ held on the 5th at Namseoul Country Club in Seongnam, Gyeonggi-do.
He first formed a bond with GOLFZON by lifting his maiden trophy at the screen golf tour GTOUR ‘2013-14 Men’s Tournament Summer Season Round 4,’ and with 2 wins in the 2023 season and 1 win in a mixed tournament in the 2024 season, he holds the title of most individual wins among men with 13 career GTOUR victories. In particular, ahead of this year’s tour season, since December last year he has consistently trained at the GOLFZON LEADBETTER ACADEMY, which GOLFZON operates to develop world-class golf players.
