GOLFZON PARK Chengdu Intime City Branch Celebrates Grand Opening

On June 19, the GOLFZON PARK Chengdu Intime City branch officially opened its doors as the second GOLFZON PARK location in the Chengdu region.
The GOLFZON PARK Chengdu Intime City branch is located in Intime City on Yizhou Avenue in the High-Tech Development Zone, a core commercial district in southern Chengdu. Adjacent to Subway Line 1, the area is regarded as a high-demand business district, home to branches of major IT companies such as ByteDance, Tencent, and Alibaba, as well as the Southwest regional headquarters of China Merchants Bank. Leveraging the area’s high proportion of upper-middle-income residents and young people, the branch plans to expand customer touchpoints going forward by running a variety of community programs and events.
Covering approximately 800㎡, the branch features a clean, modern interior. Inside, it offers three GDR PLUS practice bays and four private rooms equipped with TWOVISION PLUS simulators.
The opening ceremony was attended by industry figures and key guests, including Yang Dalu (杨大陆), Vice President of the Sichuan Provincial Golf Association; Park Young-jo, Chairman of GOLFZON China; Zheng (郑), Representative of the Chengdu Intime City branch; Cha Won-yang, Head of the GOLFZON China Sales Center; Zhou (周), General Manager of the Chengdu Intime City branch; and Jiang Ji (蒋继), GOLFZON China Southwest Regional Manager.
In his congratulatory remarks, Yang Dalu, Vice President of the Sichuan Provincial Golf Association, said, “GOLFZON China is a company that has elevated China’s indoor golf industry to a new level,” adding, “We expect that the opening of the GOLFZON PARK Chengdu Intime City branch will further invigorate indoor golf culture in the Chengdu region.”
In his opening address, Representative Zheng explained, “Indoor golf is not a replacement for course golf; rather, it offers another option for enjoying golf,” noting, “The strength of indoor golf is that you can enjoy golf anytime, free from the constraints of weather, time, or travel distance.” He added, “The indoor golf business began not just out of personal interest, but from a conviction in the industry’s growth potential,” and continued, “GOLFZON PARK can become a new entrepreneurial opportunity for the younger generation.”
Park Young-jo, Chairman of GOLFZON China, stated, “GOLFZON China is committed to popularizing golf so that more people can experience and enjoy golf culture,” adding, “We hope the GOLFZON PARK Chengdu Intime City branch will become a space that provides Chengdu’s citizens with a healthy and enjoyable lifestyle experience.”
Chengdu is a leading city in western China, well equipped with sports and cultural infrastructure. It successfully hosted the 2023 Summer World University Games and is set to host the 12th World Games in 2025. The city also has deep ties to golf. It has held various international tournaments such as the Volvo China Open, the OneAsia Tour, and PGA Tour China, and has produced renowned professional golfers including Yang Hongmei (杨红梅) and He Muni (何沐妮).
Recently, indoor golf has rapidly established itself as a new sports and leisure culture in Chengdu. Amid a growing golf population and increasingly diverse consumption trends among the younger generation, GOLFZON PARK is drawing attention as a new space that combines sports, health, and leisure, while also generating expectations as a platform that offers fresh business opportunities to young entrepreneurs.
