Golfzon Leadbetter to Open Global Headquarters at Reunion Resort & Golf Club

ORLANDO, Florida, USA — Golfzon Leadbetter and Reunion Resort and Golf Club announced that they have entered into a partnership to establish Reunion Resort as the new home of the Leadbetter Golf Academy World Headquarters.
Set on more than 2,300 acres of pristine grounds, Reunion Resort has been consistently recognized since 2005 as a resort offering the premium golf experience that defines Central Florida. In particular, it is the only resort in the world to feature three championship signature golf courses designed by golf legends Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer, and Tom Watson. Now, Reunion Resort adds the name of yet another golf legend, David Leadbetter.
For nearly 40 years, David Leadbetter and the Leadbetter Golf Academy have stood at the forefront of world-class golf instruction, producing 26 major champions and 7 world No. 1 players. Many of them trained and honed their game at the academy headquarters that was located in Central Florida. Since joining GOLFZON Group in 2018, Golfzon Leadbetter has expanded its business to 36 academies across 15 countries worldwide, while also dedicating itself to developing new technologies that make golf easier to learn.
David Leadbetter said, “I have taught golf all around the world, but there are few places as well suited for golfers to learn and play as Reunion Resort and Golf Club.” He added, “We share the vision of Kingwood International Resorts to deliver the very best golf experience at Reunion. Reunion already boasts three outstanding golf courses, and now it will be matched with a golf academy worthy of them. I look forward to the day we give our first lesson at the new facility.”
The Golfzon Leadbetter World Headquarters being built at Reunion will be equipped with the latest golf technology for lessons and practice. A wide range of specialized programs will be offered, including lesson studios fitted with launch monitors, 3D swing analysis, radar-based ball tracking within the range, club fitting, golf fitness, and biomechanics. In addition, a state-of-the-art Golfzon TwoVision simulator studio will be set up for hosting virtual golf tournaments. Leadbetter’s award-winning team of instructors will provide lessons to golfers of all levels, with diverse programs serving U.S. and international tour players and elite junior players, as well as amateurs and beginners.
Benedict Riches, CEO of Golfzon Leadbetter, said, “Reunion Resort and Golf Club is the ideal place to expand the Golfzon Leadbetter business and a venue where we can provide an exceptional facility that allows golfers of all levels to improve every aspect of their game.”
Anthony Carll, General Manager of Reunion Resort, said, “Reunion Resort and Golf Club has earned a worldwide reputation for its excellence in championship golf.” He continued, “There is nowhere else in the world where you can experience three signature golf courses designed by Palmer, Watson, and Nicklaus in one place.” He added, “This partnership is a very natural fit, and through the Golfzon Leadbetter World Headquarters we welcome yet another legend to the resort. We are thrilled to be able to offer this experience alongside a revered legend of the golf world this fall.”
