WESTBURY, N.Y. — Golfzon Range by Leadbetter announced that it will run summer camps this season for junior golfers and aspiring junior golfers ages 8 to 16, where they can learn the game and improve their skills. Two camp programs are offered, allowing participants to choose according to their skill level.

The junior golfer summer camps at Golfzon Range by Leadbetter offer a unique opportunity to receive professional coaching and lessons from certified instructors trained under world-renowned golf teacher David Leadbetter. The curriculum focuses on the long-term development of junior golfers’ skills while also making golf a fun experience through interactive games, learning new skills, and engaging with peers. After mastering the fundamentals of golf, junior golfers continue to train and refine their technique at Golfzon Range, growing so that they can eventually play on actual golf courses as well.

Parents can have their children take lessons in a safe indoor environment under the supervision of professionally trained instructors. In addition, because Golfzon Range is a climate-controlled indoor facility, families can participate in the camp with confidence, without worrying about classes being canceled due to weather.

The ‘Learn to Golf Camp’ is designed for beginners ages 8 to 16 and is led by certified Leadbetter instructors. Classes are run at a ratio of one coach to eight students, and all golf equipment is provided. The camp runs from July 8 to August 9, Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to noon. The fee for the four-day program is $350 per student.

The ‘Competition Golf Camp,’ for junior golfers ages 8 to 16 who already have golf experience, is designed to improve competitive performance. It is run with personalized sessions at a ratio of one coach to eight students. Training takes place from July 15 to August 16, Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to noon, with a virtual tournament held every Friday. The fee for the five-day program is $450 per student.

The golf simulator is an effective platform for children to learn golf, because data and visual feedback are provided instantly and intuitively. Children experience golf as if enjoying a large video game, yet at the same time they learn the golf swing and engage in physical activity, providing a healthier learning environment.

The software in the Golfzon simulator provides performance data such as ball flight, swing capture, posture correction, and clubhead speed, helping golfers get more out of every practice session and focus on the technical elements of the golf swing. The core purpose of this summer camp and simulator program is to make golf more fun and accessible to more people.
