GOLFZON Leadbetter Academy Launches Junior Golfer Program Through Partnership with Epsom College Malaysia
- In November 2025, GOLFZON Leadbetter Academy (GLA) signed a strategic alliance with Epsom College Malaysia to nurture golf talent
- First program launched for 80 junior golfers at Epsom College Malaysia, located in Kuala Lumpur
- Personalized, professional instruction provided based on GLA’s golf coaching philosophy, with support for participation in school competitions and global junior tours planned

GOLFZON Leadbetter Academy announced on the 24th that, based on its partnership with Epsom College Malaysia—a prestigious international boarding school in Malaysia—it has launched its first regular golf program for junior golfers.
Epsom College Malaysia is an international school boasting a 200,000㎡ (60,000-pyeong) campus near Kuala Lumpur International Airport, providing a traditional British boarding school education to students aged 3 to 19. In particular, as an international school where students can train in professional-level elite sports alongside their studies, Epsom College Malaysia entered into a strategic alliance with GOLFZON Leadbetter Academy last November to build a hub for nurturing global elite golf talent.
GOLFZON Leadbetter Academy at Epsom, established through the partnership between the two organizations, integrates GOLFZON Leadbetter Academy’s systematic coaching philosophy—including precise technique, structured training that incorporates sports science, mental training and reinforcement, and real-world tournament experience—into a British-style regular curriculum.
The GOLFZON Leadbetter Academy at Epsom program aims to develop competitive junior golfers and operates on the basis of local training infrastructure and coaching programs. Equipped with putting green and short-game areas for academy students, it runs a structured curriculum of up to 40 hours per week, and students also train at the 18-hole championship course Kota Seriemas Golf & Country Club, located near Epsom. There are currently 80 students enrolled, including junior athletes from various countries.
All instruction is conducted by PGA- and Leadbetter-certified coaches, and the program also provides a range of real-world tournament experiences, including the ASEAN Junior Championship, the Federation of British International Schools in Asia (FOBISIA)—a PGA partner—the Asia Junior Masters, and the GOLFZON Leadbetter Epsom Junior Tour Series. In addition, a junior golf camp offering comprehensive golf coaching is planned to run through the end of this year.
Ben Riches, CEO of GOLFZON Leadbetter Academy, stated, “The response from students and parents receiving instruction through GOLFZON Leadbetter Academy’s systematic golf coaching program has been positive, and going forward we plan to continue strengthening the foundation for developing junior athletes through the operation of this program.”
Meanwhile, GOLFZON Leadbetter Academy operates a network of golf academies around the world, including three in Korea, built on the educational system of world-renowned golf instructor David Leadbetter and on sophisticated data analysis powered by GOLFZON simulator technology. Supporting a broad community ranging from elite athletes to amateur golfers, it is expanding its model of operating junior development programs in collaboration with educational institutions, as in this alliance with Epsom College Malaysia. It also plans to continue building a global golf coaching network based on a variety of academy models tailored to operating conditions in each country and region.
