GOLFZON Co., Ltd. (CEO Park Kang-soo) announced on the 25th that it has launched GDR X, a next-generation golf practice system that delivers enhanced immersion through Unreal Engine technology and precise shot data analysis with newly developed ultra-high-speed cameras.

GOLFZON’s new golf practice system, GDR X, features the latest hardware and upgraded sensor technology to create a practice environment similar to an actual golf course while providing more accurate swing and shot analysis.

At the core of its shot analysis capabilities is the GDR X sensor, which is equipped with three new ultra-high-speed, high-resolution cameras to provide even more precise shot data. The sensing area has been expanded by approximately 1.7 times compared with previous systems, while more advanced imaging technology enables the system to analyze a wide range of shot data—including ball speed, trajectory, direction, and spin—with accuracy closer to real-world conditions. The upgraded GDR X also allows golfers to use any type of golf ball without separate markings, improving operational convenience.

Swing analysis capabilities have also been further enhanced. Full HD high-resolution Nasmo (My Swing) cameras capture both front and side views to provide clearer swing footage, while nine types of club data—including clubface, club path, and attack angle—along with eight types of ball data and nine types of flight data enable more precise swing analysis and improve lesson efficiency. Users can also customize the screen by selecting only the shot data they need, while the wide range of available data supports multifaceted analysis of a golfer’s performance for more effective training.

In particular, users can view Nasmo footage and weight-transfer analysis data simultaneously on a single screen, enabling more comprehensive swing analysis. The system also provides professional-level swing diagnostics using real-time ground reaction force data during practice. As with GDR PLUS, a weight-shift sensor measures changes in weight distribution through each phase of the swing and displays precise weight-transfer results on the swing analysis screen, helping golfers perform more detailed swing analysis and correction.

GDR X also supports a variety of practice modes, including driving range, intensive training, and nine-hole course rounds, allowing golfers to tailor their practice to their needs. The newly added intensive training mode enables users to select their desired ball position and target point for repeated practice, providing an effective training environment for realistic on-course situations such as greenside short-game shots and putting.

The system also features a 32-inch Full HD portrait-oriented kiosk, allowing users to conveniently view a wide range of information at a glance, as well as high-performance PC specifications capable of running the latest Unreal Engine 5.3. Another key feature of GDR X is its ability to provide an even more realistic practice environment through Unreal Engine 5.3 graphics.

The graphics reproduce realistic course elements such as changes in green elevation and distance perception, as well as lifelike ball movement including spin, trajectory, landing response, and roll. Through highly immersive course graphics similar to those experienced during an actual round, golfers can understand their shot results more intuitively and improve the accuracy of their practice.
