GOLFZON County Begins Leased Operation of The Golf Club… Newly Operated as ‘GOLFZON County The Golf’
- Newly opened on Thursday, Nov. 30 as ‘GOLFZON County The Golf,’ expanding market share… now operating a total of 20 golf courses and 450 holes in Korea
- Securing a golf course with strong sales performance in the Gyeongnam region raises expectations for growth in the golf course operation business

GOLFZON County (CEO Seo Sang-hyun), a total golf course service company, announced on the 5th that it has signed a leased operation agreement for ‘The Golf Club,’ an 18-hole public golf course located in Ulju-gun, Ulsan Metropolitan City, and began operating it anew as ‘GOLFZON County The Golf’ starting Thursday, November 30.
The Golf Club is a course designed to capture the supple, natural curves that follow the beautiful contours of the land, allowing everyone from beginners to advanced players to fully enjoy the essence of golf, and it also features a 300m natural-turf driving range. In addition, located just 30 minutes from downtown Busan, it offers excellent accessibility and is close to coastal tourist destinations such as Ganjeolgot, providing outstanding scenery. Thanks to the region’s relatively warm temperatures even in the cold winter, golf is possible year-round, making it a favorite among many golfers.
Building on the operational know-how from the golf courses it currently runs nationwide, GOLFZON County will fully introduce its golf course operation system, and through linkage with its existing 19 domestic sites, it plans to provide the distinctive services unique to GOLFZON County. Reservations for GOLFZON County The Golf can be made through ‘Tee Scanner,’ the smart golf reservation platform operated by GOLFZON County, and on The Golf Club website.
With the addition of this new leased operation, GOLFZON County now operates a total of 20 golf courses in Korea (4 in the metropolitan area, 3 in the Chungbuk region, 7 in the Yeongnam region, 5 in the Honam region, and 1 in the Jeju region) and 450 holes. Following the leased operation of Birdwood CC (now GOLFZON County Jeonin Ipmun) in April 2021, Dragon Lake CC (now GOLFZON County Dragon) in August 2022, and South Links Yeongnam CC in August 2023, the company has recently succeeded in concluding a leased operation agreement for The Golf Club, continuously expanding its market share and demonstrating its standing as Korea’s largest golf course chain company.
GOLFZON County CEO Seo Sang-hyun said, “I hope that many golfers will enjoy smart golf rounds at GOLFZON County The Golf, which will become even more refreshed as another addition to GOLFZON County,” adding, “By newly operating The Golf Club, one of the golf courses with strong sales performance in the Gyeongnam region, we have high expectations for the future growth of our golf course operation business. We will do our best to present courses and facilities in excellent condition to golfers by adding the distinctive services and marketing unique to GOLFZON County that are provided at each of the golf courses we operate.”
