GOLFZON Brings Immersive Simulator Experiences to the U.S. Women’s Open and U.S. Open
- Delivering a differentiated experience for fans and customers with interactive contests and the chance to play prestigious courses at golf’s most prestigious championships

CHANTILLY, Va. – GOLFZON, a global leader in simulator technology and the official indoor golf simulator partner of the U.S. Open and the Ally-presented U.S. Women’s Open, is offering fans immersive simulator experiences on-site at both championships in the first year of its multi-year partnership with the United States Golf Association (USGA).
GOLFZON installed multiple simulator booths at both championships, giving thousands of golf fans the chance to experience TWOVISION NX, GOLFZON’s flagship simulator, firsthand. TWOVISION NX features GOLFZON’s patented motion plate technology, which reproduces more than 56,000 lies, along with an auto-tee function and high-speed cameras that precisely measure launch angle, spin, ball speed, club path and more.
“Our partnership with the USGA is focused on bringing fans at golf’s most prestigious championships closer to the game,” said Sean Pyun, CEO of GOLFZON America. “The U.S. Women’s Open and the U.S. Open are meaningful opportunities to showcase GOLFZON’s technology directly to fans and hospitality guests. Through it, spectators can test their skills on the very same courses and championship stages where the world’s top players compete.”
At the 81st Ally-presented U.S. Women’s Open held at Riviera Country Club, GOLFZON operated two simulator experience spaces. At the USGA Experience, fans took part in a closest-to-the-pin challenge set against the backdrop of Riviera Country Club’s par-3 14th hole, while hospitality guests visiting the Champions Pavilion played Riviera Country Club on GOLFZON simulators throughout the championship and took part in lesson sessions with professional golfers Holly Clyburn and Maja Stark.
At the 126th U.S. Open Championship taking place this week at Shinnecock Hills Golf Club, GOLFZON has set up three simulator experience spaces throughout the venue. Fans can take part in a closest-to-the-pin contest at Shinnecock Hills’ iconic 3rd hole using simulators installed at the USGA Experience, and enjoy a longest-drive challenge at the Swing Experience Driven by Lexus in Fan Central. In addition, guests visiting the 17th Village can play Shinnecock Hills’ 17th hole alongside swing tips from golf instructor Bryce Cope. The Shinnecock Hills course is currently playable on all TWOVISION NX simulators.
This on-site experience program reflects a growing trend toward delivering more interactive and immersive experiences for fans and hospitality guests at major sporting events. Simulator technology allows spectators to go beyond simply watching the competition and to experience firsthand the shots, courses and challenges faced by the world’s top players.
Fans who want to experience the same simulator technology featured at the U.S. Women’s Open and the U.S. Open can visit their nearest GOLFZON facility to play world-class, prestigious courses. The nearest GOLFZON facility can be found through GOLFZON’s official channels.
