GOLFZON America Signs Three-Year Partnership with National Golf Course Owners Association
Through the three-year agreement, GOLFZON America will support the NGCOA’s industry advocacy efforts, annual events, and the use of a simulator at its headquarters.
CHARLESTON, S.C., USA — The National Golf Course Owners Association (NGCOA), the organization representing golf course owners and operators in the United States, announced that it has entered into a new partnership with GOLFZON America, a global leader in golf simulator technology. The collaboration comes amid steadily growing interest in adopting simulators within traditional golf facilities, and is designed to further strengthen the NGCOA’s industry advocacy efforts.
Under the agreement, GOLFZON America will participate as an NGCOA Champions Circle Patron through 2028. In doing so, it will serve as a key partner—alongside Titleist, the PGA of America, and Yamaha—in shaping the future of the golf industry and leading advocacy efforts.
GOLFZON’s participation is expected to strengthen the NGCOA’s advocacy efforts and expand its capacity to support member courses and advance key initiatives. In particular, through the NGCOA Champions Circle, the company plans to help provide financial support for the legal achievements of member courses such as Cazenovia Golf Club in New York and Indian Pond Country Club in Massachusetts. The collaboration will enable the NGCOA to broaden the scope of its activities, pursue new projects, and continue providing comprehensive support across the golf industry.
“I have consistently been optimistic about the potential of technology to expand our businesses and the industry as a whole,” said Jay Karen, CEO of the NGCOA. “By adopting golf simulator technology, traditional green-grass golf facilities can generate year-round revenue, overcome the constraints of season and weather, and maximize the use of clubhouse space.” He added, “This is a positive growth story for the golf course industry, and GOLFZON has already firmly established itself as a top-tier partner. What makes this collaboration even more meaningful is that the support of CEO Sean Pyun and the GOLFZON team provides genuine momentum for expanding the NGCOA’s advocacy efforts on behalf of the entire industry.”
Sean Pyun, CEO of GOLFZON, said, “Supporting the NGCOA’s advocacy efforts and its member courses was a very natural decision for GOLFZON.” He added, “We believe it is important to provide innovative technology that helps golf course owners succeed amid a changing golf landscape. GOLFZON simulators will help NGCOA member courses expand their range of services through advanced lessons, family and junior programs, and private events, engage with golfers year-round, and create new revenue streams.”
During the term of the agreement, GOLFZON America will also serve as a sponsor of the Golf Business Conference, the NGCOA’s annual event. In addition, it will install GOLFZON’s TwoVisionNX golf simulator at the NGCOA headquarters in Charleston, South Carolina. The newly installed simulator at the NGCOA office will serve as a test space for nearby golf courses, while also providing an opportunity to offer more useful and engaging simulator content to NGCOA member courses.
