[China.com] GOLFZON China Opens First Beijing Driving Range at Beitou Shopping Park

China.com (中华网) reported that on September 30, 2022, the first Beijing location of GOLFZON RANGE officially opened at Beijing’s Beitou (北投) Shopping Park, a site repurposed from the Beijing Winter Olympics athletes’ village.

According to the article, key figures attending the opening ceremony included GOLFZON China Chairman Park Young-jo and Director Park Sung-bong, as well as four-time Japan Tour champion coach Zhang Na (张娜) and China Tour champion Yan Panpan (闫盼盼). The roughly 1,000-square-meter store is equipped with 18 GDR units and two TwoVision units, and is configured as a one-stop complex space that includes a cafe, a tea bar, a fitness area, and a golf equipment shop.

In his opening address, Chairman Park Young-jo shared his vision of creating a new community-oriented and popularized cultural business format where anyone can enjoy golf anytime and anywhere, and the report noted his aspiration to become a new platform that drives public entrepreneurship, employment, and consumption. The article stated that since its establishment in 2020, GOLFZON China has operated hundreds of stores across more than ten cities nationwide, building a three-brand system of GOLFZON PARK, SPACE, and RANGE.
