“AI Recommends the Club That Perfectly Fits Your Swing.” Introducing the Updated ‘Golping AI Fitting’

How do you go about choosing a club? You watch some YouTube videos, get a recommendation from a friend, hit a few balls at the store, and then pay. But once you’ve actually bought it, you can’t help wondering ‘is this really the right one for me?’ We’re sure you’ve had that feeling at least once.
The Data Fitting service that GOLFZON Commerce introduced in 2023 is a service that clears up that ambiguity and provides answers through data. The concept of a personalized fitting service that analyzes your actual screen golf swing records to recommend clubs struck a fresh chord, and it has established itself as a service consistently used by more than 12,000 people per month. In May 2026, it was upgraded to Golping AI Fitting, which now adds AI on top of all that.
Between Analysis and Recommendation, AI Explains It for You

Another limitation of the existing Data Fitting was that it could not sufficiently explain the correlation between the GS data and the fitting results. There were opinions that it was not easy for golfers to intuitively understand exactly what the analyzed figures meant or why a particular product was recommended.
Golping AI Fitting closes the gap between analysis and fitting results using the AI’s LLM (Large Language Model) capabilities. Rather than ending with analyzed figures, it explains in easy-to-understand terms what the quantified data means, and it explains the direction of the fitting. Instead of simply outputting numbers, it interprets the relationships between data points to explain the characteristics of the fitted product and why that product is a good fit.
You Can Use It Even Without Screen Golf Data

One shortcoming of the existing Data Fitting was that the service could not be used at all without data from at least three screen golf rounds (GS) within the past year. Many golfers who don’t play screen golf often or who have just started golf felt it was a shame that they couldn’t use the service at all.
Golping AI Fitting conducts its analysis through eight questions even without screen golf data. Gender, age, score, driver carry distance, 7-iron carry distance, ball flight height, directionality, and where the ball lands. Once you answer these questions, your launch, ball flight type, and smash factor are converted into figures and applied directly to the existing fitting logic, leading to product recommendations.
Even golfers who have GS data can use this survey feature to carry out a fitting on behalf of a spouse or friend, making the range of uses considerably broader.
Recommendations Beyond Drivers and Irons, Now Including Golf Balls

The scope of fitting has also expanded. Previously it covered only drivers and irons, but golf ball recommendations have now been newly added. By adding questions such as desired price range, color, and short-game style on top of the GS data, it finds the ball that suits you. Going forward, there are plans to further expand the fitting scope to shafts and beyond.
Your Swing Looks Different When You See It in Numbers

When you actually run the analysis, it doesn’t simply end at “here are your numbers”; it goes as far as suggesting directions such as lowering your launch angle to reduce variance in carry distance, or adjusting your club path to improve ball flight consistency. It analyzes your shot data in detail and guides you on your strengths and weaknesses, areas for improvement, and even practice methods. In effect, it captures both directions at once—changing your club and refining your swing.

In addition, it playfully interprets a golfer’s type not as an MBTI but as a GBTI. The result classified the golfer as a ‘High Fader (HI-FA),’ which accounts for 9.1% of all golf types, with an analysis noting that green approach and directional stability are strengths, but that supplementing carry distance consistency could lead to even better scores.
The Optimal Choice Within Your Preferred Brand
The existing service recommended the product that best matched your data regardless of brand, but with Golping AI Fitting, if you enter your desired brand directly, it picks the product within that brand that best fits your swing. This feature applies across all categories—drivers, irons, and golf balls—and because it reflects customer preferences, it is expected to raise the rate of conversion to purchase as well.
A Shopping Experience That Continues Even After the Fitting
Golping AI Fitting doesn’t end with receiving your fitting results. We are preparing an integration feature so that customers who have received a fitting at least once can immediately see products suited to them on the main page and in search results when using the Golping or GOLFZON Market online mall. We are also building out processes so that, at offline stores, sales pros can use the customer survey to conduct fittings directly.
With AI added to fitting that previously relied on data alone, it is now possible to have a fitting that explains in words why your swing is the way it is and why a particular club is a good fit. For more details, check it out for yourself directly on the Golping website.
