Employee-Created AI Art and Music Bring GOLFZON GROUP’s Headquarters to Life – 2026 AI Creator Championship
đź’ˇ AI Summary GOLFZON GROUP hosted the 2026 GOLFZON GROUP AI Creator Championship to strengthen employees’ AI skills and help them become more comfortable with emerging technologies. Building on the Group’s existing AI training programs, the event encouraged employees to explore generative AI in a creative, hands-on way, turning their own ideas into artwork and music while naturally developing their AI skills. It also brought employees from across the Group’s affiliates together to take on creative challenges, share their work, and connect with colleagues.
Special Art and Music Created by GOLFZON GROUP Employees Using AI
Five unique artworks are now on display at GOLFZON Tower Seoul. Employees can enjoy them as they pass by on their way to and from the company cafeteria. Meanwhile, a different kind of background music fills the lobby. Some employees even find themselves humming along as they head to meetings or wait for coffee at the in-house café.

What do these artworks and songs have in common? They were all created entirely with AI by GOLFZON GROUP employees. They are the winning entries from the 2026 GOLFZON GROUP AI Creator Championship.
GOLFZON GROUP organized the championship to help employees become more familiar with AI and build their confidence in using it. The event offered a creative way for employees to explore AI beyond their everyday work.
The championship featured two categories, Art and Music, with no restrictions on themes. Employees from all GOLFZON GROUP affiliates were eligible to participate. Entries were evaluated against five criteria in the preliminary round, followed by employee voting in the final round to determine the rankings of five winning entries in each category.
From a playful tug-of-war between an angel and a devil inside a golf hole to famous paintings reimagined through a golfer’s eyes and the traditional Korean folk song Arirang transformed with EDM beats, the entries were full of imaginative ideas. We spoke with the Grand Prize and Excellence Award winners to find out how they came up with their concepts and brought them to life using AI.
Artwork Brought to Life with AI Prompts

The Grand Prize in the Art category went to Park Ki-tae of GOLFZON Commerce’s Club MD 1 Team for his work, The Secret of a Hole-in-One: Why Golfers Should Be Good.
The artwork captures a split second—just 0.1 seconds before a golf ball drops into the hole after rolling along the edge of the cup. Seen from inside the hole looking upward, the scene reveals an angel trying to pull the ball in with a U-shaped magnet while a devil desperately tries to stop it.
It’s a humorous take on a nail-biting moment that any golfer can relate to. Ironically, Park has never made a hole-in-one himself. Laughing about his unexpected Grand Prize win, he said, “It felt like I’d just made a hole-in-one.”

The Excellence Award went to Jang Hwan of GOLFZON’s Data Solution Development Team for Through a Golfer’s Eyes, Everything Is Golf.
The artwork gives famous paintings a playful golf-inspired makeover. Edvard Munch’s The Scream becomes Penalty Stroke, depicting a golfer’s despair after hitting a tee shot out of bounds. Jean-François Millet’s The Gleaners is transformed into Women Placing Their Golf Balls, while Kim Hong-do’s Wrestling is reimagined as AI Swing Analysis, featuring golfers from Korea’s Joseon Dynasty.
“I wanted to create something fun that everyone at the company could enjoy,” Jang explained. “I also had a little personal motive for placing AI Swing Analysis right in the center. I wanted to promote the service I actually work on!”
From Traditional Korean Melodies to Golf Swings: Music Made with AI

The Grand Prize in the Music category went to Park Min-soo of GOLFZON’s Sensor Development Team for Arirang, Drop the Beat.
The track gives the familiar chorus of Arirang, a traditional Korean folk song, a festival-ready makeover. It blends traditional Korean instruments, including the taepyeongso, janggu, and kkwaenggwari, with electronic beats and synthesizers to create an energetic, upbeat sound.
Park, who has actively participated in the company’s AI training programs, recalled, “This was my first time trying an AI music-generation tool. I wanted to come up with something different from the other entries, and AI suggested Arirang as a possible theme. I then used Claude, which I was already familiar with, together with Suno to complete the track.”

The Excellence Award went to Wang Se-jong of GOLFZON GDR Academy’s Direct Operations Team for Fairway Groove.
The song transforms the motions of a golf swing—from address to swing and impact—into a catchy K-pop-inspired track. It incorporates the sound of a club cutting through the air and the crisp moment of contact with the ball.
“I wanted to create something people could enjoy listening to anywhere, whether at our headquarters, GOLFZON PARK locations, or GDR practice facilities,” Wang explained.
Using Suno for the first time, he went through several rounds of trial and error before completing a lively track that captures the sounds and spirit of golf.
Working Through AI Challenges—and What Employees Learned Along the Way

One challenge the winners had in common was the number of revisions needed to get the results they wanted. Even a small change to an AI-generated image could unexpectedly alter other parts of the artwork. Creating music came with similar challenges, as adjusting a track’s length or sound often meant rewriting prompts and trying again.
“It only took about five to ten minutes to create the basic image, but refining the final details could take another hour or two,” Jang said.
Through these repeated attempts, the winners discovered that creating something with AI was not simply a matter of leaving everything to the technology. They learned to communicate their ideas more clearly, compare different results, and refine their prompts to get closer to what they had envisioned.
Park Min-soo agreed. “AI helped me find Arirang as a theme, but I was the one who decided what kind of music I wanted to make—something that would stand out from the other entries and be easy for anyone to enjoy.”
For some participants, the championship also highlighted just how quickly AI technology is advancing.

“Compared with two or three years ago, the quality of AI-generated results has improved tremendously,” said Wang Se-jong, adding that the experience made him want to learn more about how to use AI effectively.
For Park Ki-tae, the experience has already carried over into his daily work.
“Winning the award gave me more confidence in generating images with AI,” he said. “I’ve started using it to create visual materials that explain the features of golf clubs. Information I used to present mainly in writing can now be communicated through images as well.”
The Human Resources and General Affairs Team at GOLFZON HOLDINGS, which organized the event, explained that the championship was designed to encourage employees to combine their own ideas and experiences with AI to create something new.
Through the GOLFZON GROUP AI Creator Championship, employees had the opportunity to try AI tools they had never used before, explore new ways of working, and discover how AI could be applied to their everyday responsibilities.
GOLFZON GROUP plans to continue creating opportunities for employees across its affiliates to come together, take on friendly challenges, and build a stronger sense of belonging and connection within the Group.
