Bangkok Post reported that KETRO and GOLFZON signed an MOU for strategic cooperation in Thailand’s indoor golf business. The article focused on the two companies’ plan to develop a new indoor golf business model in Thailand.

Through the partnership, KETRO and GOLFZON aim to support the growth of golfers and urban consumers seeking convenient access to golf. The collaboration will begin with the establishment of a pilot golf center in Thailand. Based on the results of the pilot project, the two companies will review the possibility of setting up a joint venture. They will also explore potential cooperation in distributorship, franchising, and other related business models.

KETRO is a subsidiary of Saha Group, which already has experience in the golf business in Thailand. Saha Group currently operates three international-standard golf courses: Treasure Hill Golf Club, Kabinburi Sport Club, and Hariphunchai Golf Club. KETRO said Thailand’s indoor golf market has strong growth potential, particularly among younger golfers and urban consumers. The company also emphasized that indoor golf can expand beyond practice into entertainment and community-building for golf lovers.

GOLFZON is expected to contribute its simulator technology and global business experience to the partnership. GOLFZON CEO Kang Su Park said the company is committed to making golf more accessible and enjoyable through technology and innovation. He added that indoor golf has helped create new golfers, including women, younger generations, and people who have never played golf before.

The article highlighted the partnership as a starting point for long-term cooperation between KETRO and GOLFZON in Thailand. Bangkok Post also noted that the collaboration could potentially expand into broader business opportunities across Southeast Asia.
