GOLFZON JAPAN Co., Ltd. (headquartered in Tokyo; hereinafter GOLFZON JAPAN), which operates the simulation golf brand ‘GOLFZON,’ announced that it has hosted a nationwide ‘online competition’ leveraging the networking capabilities of its golf simulators.

The event was held across a total of two categories, covering not only general amateur participants but also a professional division for those holding pro qualifications.

Many golfers took part at GOLFZON-equipped venues throughout Japan, competing on their scores online and drawing strong interest as a new golf competition experience.

In recent years, the simulation golf market has been gaining attention as a new sports experience that goes beyond a mere practice space, combining competition, community, and events.

GOLFZON connects its nationwide network of venues, offering an online competition feature that lets players in different locations enjoy matches under identical conditions. The scope of this feature is expanding to include venue events, community building, and visit-driving programs.

This event was held as a qualifying round, and the finals, in which the top advancing players will compete, are scheduled to take place at a renowned golf course at a later date. Players who clear the online qualifiers will battle for the final victory on a real golf course.

In addition, the winner will be awarded, as a prize, a spot in a tournament held in China. By providing competition opportunities that extend beyond domestic tournaments to overseas events, GOLFZON JAPAN plans to showcase a global competitive experience unique to GOLFZON.
