Metaverse Sports Culture Innovation Forum and Metaverse Golf Experience Event Held

On March 5, the ‘Metaverse Sports Culture Innovation Forum and Metaverse Golf Experience Event,’ hosted by the Metaverse Innovation and Development Committee of the Beijing Informatization Association (hereinafter the Metaverse Committee) and organized by GOLFZON China, was successfully held at the GOLFZON PARK Beijing flagship store.
Drawing strong interest from the industry, the event was attended by some 40 officials from around 30 companies. Participating companies shared a range of success stories in the metaverse field and held in-depth discussions on the potential and future direction of metaverse golf. The event opened with welcoming remarks from a Metaverse Committee official, and the organizers expressed their gratitude to the participating companies and to GOLFZON China.
Next, Park Sung-bong, Chairman of GOLFZON China, introduced the company’s future strategy centered on ‘digital sports,’ ‘digital arenas,’ and ‘digital competition,’ alongside its corporate philosophy of ‘enabling anyone to enjoy golf anytime, anywhere.’ He also unveiled to attendees the company’s metaverse golf sports devices, indoor golf simulators, various forms of GOLFZON PARK, the ‘CITY GOLF’ project currently under development, and the indoor golf tournaments operated by GOLFZON China.
Chairman Park Sung-bong stated, “Metaverse technology and digital strategy will further accelerate the popularization of golf while also playing a positive role in the growth of the sports, culture, and economic industries as a whole.” Each company shared various technology cases and solutions combining the metaverse with the sports and culture industries, and discussions also covered the potential for new business models in the metaverse sports industry alongside introductions of technology innovation cases. GOLFZON China expects this exchange to play a positive role in advancing Beijing’s metaverse industry and expanding the innovation ecosystem of the sports industry.
Event participants toured the GOLFZON PARK Beijing flagship store in person and also experienced the GOLFZON indoor golf simulator. Attendees showed keen interest in GOLFZON China’s digital golf technology and business model, and an opportunity was also provided to discuss the potential for cooperation across various fields going forward.
The Metaverse Committee announced that through this event it plans to further strengthen its partnerships with key industry players and expand the development of the metaverse sports industry ecosystem. It also explained that it will continue to expand its ‘Metaverse+’ series of events to strengthen cross-industry convergence and cooperation, creating new opportunities and momentum for the development of the metaverse industry.
GOLFZON China likewise announced that, as a vice-chair organization of the Metaverse Committee, it plans to continue expanding the convergence of digital golf with various industries and to remain actively engaged in building a new ecosystem for the sports and culture industries.
