FILA GOLF Supports the GOLFZON China Open… Backing Players to the July Finals with Professional Sports Aesthetics

The 2024 GOLFZON China Indoor Open has partnered with FILA GOLF, the premium performance golf wear brand. FILA GOLF has brought an elevated sense of fashion to this tournament and has also prepared an abundance of benefits and a variety of events for players competing in the July preliminary round. Under the slogan “Everyone’s Swing, a Challenge Toward Dreams,” the two companies plan to use this Open as a catalyst to jointly help expand the foundation and popularization of golf as a sport in China.

FILA, the Italian sports fashion brand founded in 1911, has grown from its earliest days on a heritage rooted in aristocratic sport, and it possesses deep assets and history in the premium sports field. FILA GOLF’s ties to golf likewise reach far back. In 1979, FILA introduced the FILA GOLF PRO series and collaborated with world-class professional golfers, expressing an elite sporting sensibility on the golf course and expanding its presence in the professional golf market.

FILA has long been loved by consumers in the fashion sports field, demonstrating distinctive competitiveness in color, design, and silhouette. In particular, FILA GOLF has intensively targeted the premium golf wear market for some 40 years, emphasizing both “elegance and expertise” at once. Through lines such as the BTB high-elasticity series, the SPG high-performance series, and the DP WORLD TOUR competition series, it embraces a broad range of consumers and strengthens its brand differentiation. Building on the tradition of Italian sportswear, it also supports professional players, golf lifestyle consumers, and the next generation of rising talent in playing more elegantly on the field, presenting a new aesthetic of golf.

As an industry-leading brand, FILA GOLF continues to devote attention to the development and popularization of golf as a sport. On April 19, 2024, it officially announced the “FILA GOLF China Pride” generational ambassador lineup, composed of Liang Wenchong (梁文冲), Xu Longyi (许龙一), and He Muni (何沐姬), expressing its commitment to nurturing the future generation of Chinese golf and broadening the player base. This collaboration with the GOLFZON China Indoor Open was likewise pursued under the goal of jointly leading the expansion of golf’s foundation in China and the development of the digital sports industry.

This collaboration with FILA GOLF offers participants a new experience, featuring not only abundant benefits for outstanding players but also a long-running offline brand match and a variety of online events. In particular, a diverse range of programs has been prepared so that, over the remaining 30 days of the tournament, players can actively take part and enjoy a special experience that combines sport and fashion.

The first program of the “Sports Aesthetics Journey” is the FILA GOLF team selection round. The top three players in each of the men’s and women’s divisions in the July preliminaries—six players in total—will be awarded direct-to-finals tickets provided by FILA GOLF, and they will compete in the finals as “FILA GOLF Team” to vie for the overall championship. The July preliminary course is the “Shenzhou Golf Club – East Dunes Course.”

The second program is a voucher event for outstanding players. FILA GOLF has prepared generous rewards for participants in the July preliminary round. Vouchers worth a total of 10,000 yuan will be provided to the players ranked 1st, 2nd, and 3rd by total strokes across the combined men’s and women’s standings, and an additional 15,000 yuan in vouchers will be awarded to the top three players who play the most rounds. In addition, various lucky-draw events will also be held, including for 10 hole-in-one players, 10 special “8”-related award winners, and 30 rising-talent award winners.

The third program is the “GOLFZON OPEN X FILA GOLF No.1 Store Invitational.” This brand collaboration event, held in July, consists of individual and team competitions, and outstanding players from the individual competition will be offered invitations to the team competition along with additional rewards.

Finally, a nationwide “Sports Aesthetics Styling” campaign will also take place. Participants can receive special gifts prepared by FILA GOLF by uploading their own sports styling content to social media along with the designated hashtag. Anyone across the country can take part, and prizes are provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
