GOLFZON CITY GOLF Officially Selected as an Outstanding Case of China’s Smart Sports Venues for 2024

Following approximately two months of online public disclosure and review, GOLFZON (Tianjin) CITY GOLF was officially selected on March 3 in the smart sports venues and facilities category of the ‘2024 Representative Cases of Smart Sports,’ jointly announced by China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the General Administration of Sport of China.
GOLFZON CITY GOLF, the world’s first digital indoor 18-hole golf course, is recognized as one of the innovative cases representing the global digital sports field. It is also drawing attention as a case with broad and long-term social value.
According to the announcement, going forward the industry and information technology and sports authorities in each region plan to expand support for the selected cases in areas such as technological innovation, service commercialization, and administrative assistance, tailored to local circumstances. Through this, they intend to actively promote the large-scale expansion and application of outstanding cases.
Accordingly, the possibility of building thousands of GOLFZON CITY GOLF venues across China is also being raised. By establishing a nationwide indoor golf network, the initiative is expected to create an environment in which more people can experience golf and to contribute to the high-quality growth of China’s sports industry.
