GOLFZON America Launches New Competitive Indoor Golf League, the GOLFZON Tour

Twelve teams from major cities across North America and the UK to compete… Tour Final to be held at the 2025 PGA Show, with USD 150,000 in prize money awarded to the winning team
GOLFZON America announced the launch of the GOLFZON Tour, a new competitive indoor golf league featuring 12 teams from major cities across North America and the UK. Through a series of matches, the participating teams will advance to the Tour Final held at the 2025 PGA Show, where the eventual champion team will be awarded USD 150,000 in prize money.
GOLFZON has operated GTOUR, a popular simulator golf league in Korea, for more than a decade. As a professional simulator golf league, GTOUR is a tournament in which Korea’s top golfers compete for prize money, and it is broadcast live via Screen GOLFZON Channel, the world’s first cable channel dedicated to simulator golf. GTOUR broadcasts have established themselves as content competitive enough to rival PGA TOUR and LPGA Tour broadcasts within Korea, demonstrating GOLFZON’s capability to produce premium professional golf content for global audiences to enjoy.
GOLFZON is now extending its proven operational experience to the North American and European markets. A distinctive feature of the GOLFZON Tour is that it allows everyday golfers in each region—not just professional players—to participate through a qualifying process held at each team’s host facility.
Sean Pyun, CEO of GOLFZON America, said, “During my first nine months after taking on the role of CEO, I visited store operators and listened to voices in the field, which led me to conceive the GOLFZON Tour,” adding, “The goal of the GOLFZON Tour is to positively elevate the experience of GOLFZON customers by providing programs and support that can be of real help at any of the 200 GOLFZON facilities across North America and Europe.” He continued, “While the first season begins with 12 teams, we expect the scale of participation to expand significantly going forward.”
Each participating facility is assigned to either the Eastern or Western division and fields a team of five players. Matches are conducted through GOLFZON’s Network Play, which enables golfers from different regions to compete in real time, and each host facility is equipped with a GOLFZON TwoVision simulator. A representative from each host facility serves as the team captain and selects the competing players.

CEO Sean Pyun said, “The concept of a simulator golf tour like TGL may feel new to golfers in North America and Europe, but GOLFZON has already operated such tournaments in Asia for many years and understands well the infrastructure needed to grow them successfully,” adding, “The partner facilities in 12 cities will provide local golfers with the opportunity to compete against skilled players from other regions and vie for substantial prize money, without the cost burden of travel.”
All teams will play a five-week round-robin schedule beginning in early October, which will determine the playoff seeding. The playoffs begin in November, with each team competing for a spot in the Tour Final, to be held live in Orlando during the 2025 PGA Show.
Starting with the first-round matchups in November, a total of 11 playoff games will be broadcast via golfzontour.com and GOLFZON’s official YouTube channel. Along with each elimination match, fans can watch highlights and interviews of their favorite teams and join the journey toward the crowning of the inaugural GOLFZON Tour champion.
The inaugural season of the GOLFZON Tour will feature world-renowned championship courses, including the Old Course at St. Andrews, Kingsbarns Golf Links, Pebble Beach Golf Links, The Ocean Course at Kiawah Island, Harbour Town Golf Links, Spyglass Hill Golf Course, and the Stadium Course at PGA West. The Tour Final at the 2025 PGA Show will take place on a virtual version of Bay Hill Club and Lodge, host of the PGA TOUR’s Arnold Palmer Invitational since 1979.
At the heart of this new league is GOLFZON’s industry-leading simulator technology. Every match is powered by the award-winning TwoVision simulator and GOLFZON’s signature Network Play ecosystem. Renowned for its innovative 24-directional moving swing plate, hitting zones with various surfaces, and lifelike wind and play-environment rendering, TwoVision delivers a true-to-life simulator experience for every shot from the tee to the cup, down to the most delicate putt.
CEO Sean Pyun added, “By combining cutting-edge technology, top-tier facilities, and a passionate community of players, GOLFZON America is ushering in a new era of indoor golf entertainment.”
