GOLFZON WAVE Launch Monitor and Simulator Boost Ball-Data Performance with Major Firmware Update

GOLFZON, a global leader in golf simulation technology, announced that it has carried out a major firmware update for the WAVE launch monitor and simulator. The update is the result of several months of development by GOLFZON’s R&D team to enhance the performance of WAVE, a device that combines portability with full simulator functionality.
GOLFZON applied extensive machine learning based on tens of thousands of shot-data records, delivering a range of feature enhancements and optimizations designed to provide WAVE users with more precise and stable performance.
The key updates in Firmware 196 are as follows.
Improved Ball-Data and Physics-Data Accuracy
Measurement accuracy has been improved for key golf metrics such as ball speed, launch angle, direction, carry, and run. This allows users to review more in-depth data and gain a more reliable practice experience.
Enhanced Club-Data Precision
The resolution of club speed measurement has been improved, enabling the collection of more detailed data for each swing. This helps golfers of all levels analyze their performance more clearly.
Application of Machine Learning Algorithms
GOLFZON applied machine learning to vast amounts of shot data to minimize the performance gap between WAVE and leading competing products on the market. This is expected to deliver accuracy that continues to evolve with every session.
Improved RCT Ball Detection and Spin Accuracy
Reflecting the importance of accurate spin data for effective training, RCT ball-detection accuracy has been significantly improved. WAVE users can experience spin data on par with premium competing products, which also further enhances the quality of feedback.
Digital Board Firmware Update
This update expands the maximum packet capacity, improving signal-processing performance, response speed, and data accuracy. These optimizations make data capture faster and more stable, providing users with a seamless experience.
System Advancement
New machine learning scripts, an AI variable counter, and version-control scripts have been added, enabling continuous system management and accuracy improvements.
The WAVE R&D team plans to continue driving the advancement of golf simulation technology and to pursue ongoing innovation so that golfers around the world can improve their skills based on more sophisticated and intuitive technology. GOLFZON customers can look forward to an optimized experience that sets a new industry standard with every shot.
