GOLFZON Co., Ltd. (Co-CEOs Park Kang-soo and Choi Deok-hyung) took part in the ‘2023 PGA Merchandise Show’ held over four days from January 24 to 27 in Orlando, Florida, U.S., showcasing a range of global-oriented golf simulator products. With this year’s PGA Show drawing 30,000 attendees—double the figure of the previous year—GOLFZON’s standalone booth saw a steady stream of visitors and, with more than 400 on-site sales consultations during the exhibition, the company announced that it had successfully wrapped up the show amid acclaim from overseas customers.

Participating for the 8th time this year, GOLFZON set up a standalone booth at the show and presented a range of golf simulator products embodying the technological capabilities it has built up over the past 22 years. The exhibited products were ‘TwoVision,’ its flagship product offering a vivid screen golf game environment; ‘GDR Plus,’ a simulator dedicated to screen golf practice; ‘WAVE,’ a portable golf shot monitor product; and ‘WAVE PLAY,’ the overseas version of the Vision Home golf swing trainer. The company held demonstration events highlighting the features of each product, drawing a great response from the many visitors who came to the site.

In particular, GOLFZON officially announced June 2023 as the launch plan for its new product ‘WAVE,’ which drew the hottest interest at this PGA Show. ‘WAVE’ had earlier earned a strong response at the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) held in Las Vegas, U.S. in early January, and at the PGA Show site it was hailed as an educational tool for the golfers, coaches, and students who took part in the demonstrations, and as an entertaining home simulator for friends and family members among the general public. ‘WAVE’ is the first portable radar sensor product GOLFZON has unveiled targeting overseas markets. It applies a sensor radar realized through more than five years of research, allowing it to be freely moved and used both indoors and outdoors without being affected by lighting, club color, and the like. It incorporates GOLFZON’s distinctive technology that estimates spin amount based on club trajectory, and it features an included infrared putting mat that provides accurate putting data.

During the show, GOLFZON also held a screen golf game event using TwoVision and GDR Plus, adding to the fun by awarding abundant prizes—such as Pinehurst golf course gift cards, the WAVE portable radar sensor, Amex gift cards, and GOLFZON goods—based on the results. On the first day of the show, a meeting was also held with GOLFZON America CEO Lim Dong-jin, GOLFZON Leadbetter CEO Ben Riches, and Troon CEO Tim Schantz.

GOLFZON Deca (CEO Jung Joo-myung), a global golf rangefinder specialist, also showcased a range of GolfBuddy golf rangefinder products through its participation in this PGA Show. In particular, its newly unveiled pocket laser rangefinder product earned continued acclaim from visitors with its compact design crafted to slip easily into a pocket and its application of ZST+(ZST Plus), GOLFZON Deca’s patent-pending technology, delivering a remarkable measurement speed of 0.15 seconds. The company also drew a great response by jointly presenting the Galaxy Watch5 Golf Edition and Galaxy Watch5 Pro Golf Edition—a collaboration series with Samsung loaded with a smart caddie app based on the GolfBuddy DB.

GOLFZON America CEO Lim Dong-jin said, ”It is meaningful to be able to showcase GOLFZON’s unrivaled B2C products, which concentrate the company’s technological capabilities, to buyers and visitors from around the world through this PGA Show participation,” adding, “We will actively strive to deliver differentiated enjoyment in off-course golf by rolling out all the products shown at the PGA Show this year into the North American market in various forms, including GOLFZON Social, GOLFZON Range, homes, and schools.”
