GOLFZON Earns ‘ISO/IEC 27001’ International Standard for Information Security

GOLFZON Co., Ltd. (Co-CEOs Choi Deok-hyung and Park Kang-soo) announced on the 13th that on September 12 it obtained international standard certification (ISO/IEC 27001) for its information security management system, covering the planning, development, and maintenance of the website and smartphone application for its screen golf service as well as the operation of its information security system.
‘ISO/IEC 27001’, which GOLFZON obtained, is the international standard for information security management systems (ISMS, Information Security Management System) established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). It refers to a management framework that encompasses policy, organization, asset classification, risk analysis, security measures, and audits for information protection.
By obtaining the international standard information security certification, GOLFZON has been certified as faithfully complying with international standards in information security policy, human resources security, asset management, access control, cryptography, physical and environmental security, operations security, communications security, system acquisition, development and maintenance, supplier relationship security, information security incident management, and more.
Meanwhile, GOLFZON, a total global golf platform company, has established a dedicated information security organization and built and operated an information security management system to provide more systematic and secure services. The company obtained Korea’s domestic Information Security Management System certification (ISMS) in 2013 and has maintained it to this day, and has consistently devoted itself to information protection, including disclosing its information protection activities through annual information security disclosures. By additionally acquiring this international standard information security certification (ISO/IEC 27001), the company is doing its utmost to provide stable services and safely protect customers’ personal information.
