GOLFZON Signs MOU with CJ Freshway for Mutual Cooperation in the Golf Course Business

Through this business agreement, the two companies plan to continue a variety of marketing activities to enhance brand awareness, based on the infrastructure and capabilities each company possesses in the golf course business area. They intend to create marketing synergy and focus on revitalizing the business through CJ Freshway’s infrastructure, which is equipped with specialized expertise in golf course food and beverage services, and GOLFZON’s brand power, including its screen and field members. The signing ceremony was held on the 10th at the GOLFZON Tower Seoul studio, attended by officials including Son Jang-soon, Head of GOLFZON’s Platform Business Division, and Choi Seok-jung, FS Business Manager at CJ Freshway.
First, CJ Freshway will run a coffee promotion for GOLFZON G Membership field members at domestic golf courses where it provides food and beverage services. G Membership Field is a membership service newly launched by GOLFZON on July 15, offering not only screen benefits but also customized benefits for field golfers, such as a 2+2 coffee coupon at partner golf courses, free cart fee coupons and discounts at partner golf courses, and hole-in-one insurance. GOLFZON identified the food and beverage needs of golfers visiting field golf courses and designed the 2+2 coffee promotion, and plans to expand the scope of the promotion to about 30 golf courses by the end of this year.
Through the golf course starthouse, an essential stop for field golfers, the company is also preparing various golf course F&B promotions, such as breakfast and popular menu promotions to commemorate the launch of G Membership Field. In addition, to strengthen touchpoints with golfers and enhance brand awareness, collaborations targeting a variety of food and beverage business sites beyond golf courses are also being planned.
