GOLFZON China will host the 3rd China University Digital Golf Education Development Forum and Symposium on the Development of a Standardized Golf Textbook on July 29, 2026, in Yanbian, China.

The forum will be hosted by the School of Physical Education at Yanbian University, co-hosted by the School of Social Sports at Tianjin University of Sport, and organized by GOLFZON China. The event is expected to bring together representatives from more than 100 comprehensive and sports universities across China, education and research experts, sports research institutions, industry associations, and leading digital sports companies.

The forum has been organized to establish an industry-academia cooperation platform that connects university sports education with real-world industry needs amid the digital transformation of sports education in China. Key topics will include closer integration between education and industry, collaborative talent development, the standardization of digital golf education, and the expansion of employment and entrepreneurship opportunities for university students.

The China University Digital Golf Education Development Forum has continued to grow since it was first held in 2024. The inaugural event brought together nearly 70 universities and more than 100 industry representatives and marked the launch of the China University Digital Golf Education Development Alliance. The second forum, held in Tianjin in 2025, attracted representatives from more than 100 universities and approximately 180 experts and industry professionals, providing a platform to discuss practical cooperation between universities and businesses.

Building on the discussions of the previous two events, this year’s forum will place particular emphasis on the development of a standardized golf textbook for universities across China. Education specialists, university faculty members, and corporate technology and R&D teams will discuss the structure of digital golf curricula and teaching materials, practical training modules, and educational content related to international tournament operations. The discussions will explore ways to establish a standardized educational framework that can be applied at universities nationwide.

GOLFZON China believes that the continued expansion of the off-course golf industry is creating a growing need for professionals with expertise in both sports and digital technology. Technology-driven golf experiences incorporating golf simulators, motion capture, and big data analysis are increasingly being used in education, community sports, commercial facilities, and sporting events. As these applications expand, demand is also growing for professionals capable of teaching, managing, and operating digital golf programs.

Against this backdrop, the forum will focus on several major priorities, including the development of a standardized digital golf curriculum, improvement of digital teaching capabilities among physical education instructors, establishment of practical training facilities jointly operated by universities and businesses, application of research and industry collaboration outcomes, and cultivation of professionals specializing in international sports event operations.

The event will also explore a dual-track education model combining classroom-based theoretical instruction with practical training in real business environments. Standardized digital golf facilities across China may be used as internship and training centers, enabling students to gain experience in areas such as facility operations, business development, community sports services, tournament management, and sports content production.

GOLFZON China plans to continue expanding its partnerships with universities through long-term industry-academia cooperation programs. The company intends to provide partner universities with digital golf teaching equipment and support the establishment of educational and practical training environments. Designated offline facilities operated by GOLFZON China will also be made available as training centers where students can acquire hands-on industry experience.

GOLFZON China will additionally use its international tournament resources, including the GOLFZON China Open, to offer students opportunities to participate in global sports event operations, content production, and communications. These programs are expected to help students gain practical experience while developing a broader understanding of the international digital sports industry.

The company also plans to work with the International Indoor Golf Association, or IIGA, universities, industry associations, and related institutions to develop standardized certification and assessment systems for digital golf performance and education. The initiative is intended to establish consistent standards that can be applied across universities and training institutions throughout China.

GOLFZON China is also exploring ways to support employment and entrepreneurship among university graduates. One such initiative involves the development of smaller, more accessible community-based digital golf facilities. These facilities could provide young professionals with opportunities to gain experience in golf instruction, facility management, community programs, and tournament operations while supporting the broader expansion of digital golf participation.

Yanbian, where this year’s forum will be held, serves as an important point of exchange between China and Northeast Asia. Its regional position is expected to provide opportunities to expand cross-border cooperation in digital sports education and industry development.

Through the forum, GOLFZON China aims to strengthen collaboration among universities, businesses, research institutions, and industry organizations. The company will continue working to establish a sustainable off-course golf education ecosystem and support the development of talent capable of contributing to the future growth of the digital sports industry.
