WAYNE, Pa. \u2014 Golf Genius, a leading provider of cloud-based solutions for golfers, golf professionals, golf facilities, academies, tours and associations, announced that its tournament operations solution, Golf Genius Tournament Management, has been selected as the official live scoring platform for the GOLFZON Tour. Founded in 2000, GOLFZON is widely recognized as a global leader in golf simulator technology. GTOUR has been a hugely popular competitive simulator league in Korea since 2012, and was newly launched in North America under the name GOLFZON Tour this past October.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Featuring the most comprehensive and flexible live scoring engine in the industry, Golf Genius Tournament Management serves as the scoring platform for the GOLFZON Tour match play competition. The event is played by 12 teams of five players each, distributed across different regions. In each match, three players represent each team, with the top two scores on every hole combined to determine the team result.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Competing teams play at GOLFZON simulator venues around the world, with these venues virtually connected to enable real-time live competition. Playoff matches have been broadcast over the past several months via YouTube and golfzontour.com, and the highly anticipated final will be played live on GOLFZON’s latest simulator, TwoVisionNX, at Booth 2727 during the PGA Show in Orlando on January 23. The winning team will receive a $150,000 prize and be crowned the inaugural GOLFZON Tour Champion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
