WILLIAMSBURG, Virginia \u2014 GOLFZON, the world\u2019s largest golf simulator company, and the Executive Women\u2019s Golf Association (EWGA), the largest amateur golf association in the United States centered on women, announced that they have entered into a nationwide partnership to help women participate in golf more easily by leveraging GOLFZON\u2019s diverse range of simulators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The announcement was made on the first day of the EWGA\u2019s 25th anniversary celebration held in Williamsburg, Virginia. Tommy Lim, Vice President of GOLFZON\u2019s EU and Americas Business Division, delivered remarks at the Friday welcome dinner held ahead of the weekend conference schedule. Earlier this week, Vice President Lim visited the LPGA Swinging Skirts LPGA Classic in San Francisco, where LPGA player Alison Lee signed a two-year sponsorship agreement with GOLFZON.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Vice President Tommy Lim said, \u201cThe partnership with the EWGA is an opportunity to offer a new way to enjoy golf to women golfers, who represent the fastest-growing and most significant segment of the golf population,\u201d adding, \u201cIn Korea, GOLFZON has helped existing golfers play more often and led more people to take up the game. In particular, there are cases of many women golfers who learned golf through simulators and went on to become world-class players on the LPGA.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In 1991, many women in the American workplace often remained at the office while their male colleagues entertained clients on the golf course. To change this, EWGA founder Nancy Oliver launched golf clinics for working women in West Palm Beach, Florida, which became the beginning of a movement that would later grow into the Executive Women\u2019s Golf Association. By 1995, the EWGA had established 90 chapters across the United States, and it now operates in more than 100 cities in the U.S. as well as overseas chapters in Bermuda, Canada, and Italy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
EWGA members contribute 65 million dollars to the U.S. golf economy each year. The association offers thousands of golf, social, and networking opportunities nationwide and also hosts major national tournaments and events. Its membership comprises women from a wide range of professions, ranging from golf beginners to seasoned players.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The EWGA\u2019s 25th anniversary celebration and golf experience, open to all, will be attended by notable figures including golf legend Nancy Lopez, PGA of America board officer Suzy Whaley, and keynote speaker Dawn Hudson, Chief Marketing Officer of the National Football League (NFL).
